Wow, I haven't used this journal in ages. Between my two LJs and my paid IJ, this journal just got shoved into a closet to gather dust.
Debating for what exactly to use this baby. My participation in fandom has definitely declined since I moved to NYC, which sucks. Avatar: The Last Airbender was the last show I sort of actively fanned (it's a verb now!), and even with that, I only peripherally followed LJ communities. Most of my fandom news now comes from F_W and 4chan.
Back in the good ol' days - when I walked uphill both ways to school damn you kids get off my lawn - I was the fangirlest of fangirls. Mailing lists, EZboards, AOL chats, FanFiction.net up the wazoo, Geocities websites - I was a fiend for updates. Man, those days were awesome!
Now I can barely be arsed to clean up my domain. Though I actually am pretty damned annoyed that Google thinks my site's a malware factory. Gotta figure that accusation out. |
