The problem with the racist hair wank...
is that most people, on hearing the word "hair", will be seized with an uncontrollable urge to talk about their own hair. Only this theory can explain some of the comments on FW. They're not callous to racial concerns, they just want to enlighten you about the time someone asked to touch their blonde hair, or their struggles to find the right type of hairspray for their fine brunette curls.

Full disclosure here. I have very, very curly light-brown/blonde hair.

Rly? In what forms? I am totally hair-casual--I wash it every night and that's it. Sometimes I think about brushing it.

Eat it, it's not just good for your hair. Wakame in miso soup, and dried sheets around rice. I'll make a mental note to add some seaweed to your Pocky. :D

There is a store over on the way to the train station that sells various Japanese food product; I should swing over there some time and look for stuff that is Good for Me to snack on.

There's some that comes cut into small strips in small packages. When my son composes a snack for himself, it will usually be strips of dried seaweed (nori), with dried bonito shavings, and small dried whole sardines. Of course, his hair is perfect. and also of course, that may have more to do with being seven than eating seaweed.
