Whoa. Oh, those poor people, that's horrible. I still have no idea why it's related to FW at all, but it's still horrible, and I'm sorry for their loss.

It's related because they were mean to her by making sockpuppets and trolling her myspace, and we are mean to people by pointing and laughing at sockpuppets and trolls. Obviously it's the same thing.

The way that girl's friend's mother was a completely disgusting human being is just the same as making fun of people for being idiots online.

(Well, no, okay, I can see her point - that just because something takes place online doesn't make it meaningless - but still.)
