MUSIC TO SHARE, a note on last night's "House", and a question about the WGA strike wackiness.

First: That "Blue the janitor" joke on House - a sign that the writers are lurking online and know all about the House/Wilson slash comms, Y/Y? (Sure, I could pay more attention to the fandom and actually find out what goes on behind the scenes, but where's the fun in that?)

Also, has anyone else had disagreements with people on their f-list about the Writer's Guild strike? I know someone who's really, really against it, and it's...weird. I don't deal with conflict well. Ugh.

Teyla will FUCK YOUR SHIT UP, bitches.

First, let's talk about the sheer AWESOMENESS that has been Stargate: Atlantis the past two weeks.

Tabula Rasa was freakin' brilliant, with the spooky atmosphere and paranoia  and Crazy!Radek and PillPopping!Lorne and Rodney not being a dick because he forgot how to be one. But what was up with Sam being in civilian clothes the whole time? Did she leave the military or something? Every time she was on screen I was all distracted by her cleavage and new hair. It's especially weird because Elizabeth was a civilian and yet tended to wear uniform-type thingies most eps. She feels more OOC with every new episode, and it's just... bugging me.

And this week, OMG! Teyla kicking ass, yes, but more than that we got character development and insight into her life. A boyfriend! Stories about her childhood! And I loved Kaylee (I don't care what her character's name is, she'll always be Kaylee to me) not being super-badass and finding her own kind of strength. I ♥ Teyla like whoa, and every episode where she's more than Exotic-Warrior-Woman-Eye-Candy is a plus in my book. I do wonder why it took until Rachel was too pregnant to wear the midriff-baring outfits that she gets lines like, "What is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter?" Or her own episode that doesn't involve showcasing how "primitive" and "exotic" she is. /is bitter

Also, Ronon being sarcastic is one of my favorite things ever.
