fic rec: "Within the Pale" Within the Pale is the sequel to Ellen Fremedon's "Returns of the Day" -- and what a sequel! Much, much longer than the first story,
Pale is full of wonderful, gritty details about the war Severus and Harry find themselves enmeshed in, and
beautiful sweet steamy sex scenes, and great characterisation, and some truly clever writing. Humour provides a bit of relief from the very real tensions of two people who expect to die, and the emotions developing between them are far more self-evident than talked about, which is lovely.
