| 12:59 pm | One more person to detest. Seriously? SERIOUSLY? Aaaaaaaargh. (Especially since, from what I've read, the robots were supposed to be ambiguous and it was a Disney mandate that they be MORE genderrific.) So yeah, I've been spending less and less time over here. Part of it is because the comms have been languishing in unfunny, and part of it is that I just got done with my MA retakes for which I was studying, and part of it is that I've been spending more time over on lol_meme. Because they're full of crack, and I enjoy the crack. If I've missed anything important, let me know. |

So we can not care about capslockers but read the comments in hope of discovering some funny. CL_SPN: Claims they don't care about anything, yet feel compelled to come over and troll FW just to prove how little they care. I think I know who cares least, and who's acting like a sack of douche. |

| 12:27 am | I live under a rock and hadn't actually heard "Rehab" until this morning. And... it's a good song, but it hits my embarrassment squick SO HARD knowing all the tabloid-fueled details of Amy Winehouse's personal life and descent into... whatever the fuck it is she's doing. I mean, it's ALL THERE in the song, and it's sort of sad. :( Also, I spent a whole bunch of time tonight reading trashy fantasy instead of studying, and I feel a bit calmer and less panicky now. |

And then I wanted to get... paper, or fabric, or wallpaper, or something, that looked like wood, and I was going to put that on my pants and my arms... and I was going to be the Virginia Man-o-logs!" | 4:30 pm | Sticking this here because I thought it was well phrased, mainly. From a comment on the Neil Gaiman LJ feed: Plus, if a character is gay in the original source, it's tokenism. If a character is later revealed to be gay (because, oh, it wasn't RELEVANT before), that's drumming up publicity and/or cheap tokenism. If no characters are gay, it's homophobia. The woman just can't win. |
