Yeah I could see it logged out as well :( I still have paid time left as well. I have been getting a LOT of spam recently.
It seems like a glitch that didn't hit all users: some people had their live journal email showing, and some (like me) had their actual email displayed.

I am getting a ton of spam too, actually.

Mine was displaying my gmail and my LJ email - both of which I set to hide, but LJ decided I needed to share with all our friends in Nigeria.

My @lj.com one. The spam followed me to a new email when my old one went down for maintenance and I redirected it so I wouldn't lose notifications.

I recently changed my main email address, then created a bazillion forward addresses through my domains. Crazy but if I start getting spam, I'll know exactly which site it is originating from... and change the forward address quick!

This all stems from having 600 spam emails over 4 days time.. crappy porn messages, virus laden messages, Nigerian chain mail, home loans, and greeting card spam.

I've been getting buckets of spam in the last week - and it's getting past my filters which is extra annoying.

I only checked because someone commented elsewhere it had happened to them - but the glitch seems fairly rare.

It appears to be a rare-ish glitch. I've heard of three people so far with it - although I'm admittedly not looking. Most people just have their @lj.com email showing.
