Is the monster dog cage-trained? Our dog had separation anxiety when we first got her - she'd pull the cushions off the couches and then tear up what was beneath - and having that place of security really calmed her down. Now she goes there whenever she feels anxious.

He can escape his crate. Yeah, pretty insane, but he's determined.
Pretty dangerous too. Hrm. Other advice would be give him something to focus on, i.e. a Kong filled with peanut butter. More good advice here. Also, you might just want to try kenneling him or boarding him at an open-kennel dog boarding facility/doggy daycare. This way he can be active with and kept company by other dogs, and when he does make a mess on the premises it's not a big deal. |
