4:53 pm	I feel like telling a joke that I learned in junior high. Ok, so there's this guy who got his girlfriend's name, Wendy tattooed on his penis. When it was soft all you could see was the W and Y. One day he goes on vacation to Jamaica and while he's in the bathroom he peeks at the Jamaican guy next to him and sees a W and Y visible on his penis so he asks the guy, "Do you have a girlfriend named Wendy too?" The Jamaican replies, "No, mine says 'Welcome to Jamica, have a nice day'." *rimshot* Ah, the stupid and possibly racist things you learn in school... 2:57 pm	ROTK musings...no spoilers, honest! So, i went to see Return of the King on monday, finally. Well..it was pretty good. Some parts were downright awesome. Ok...so, Oscar predictions...this is gonna piss some people off. I didn't see a whole lot that warranted Oscar noms for Viggo or Elijah. Sorry, just didn't see either of their performances as spectacular. Sean was excellent in my opinion and deserves a nod. Andy Serkis deserves a supporting nod but won't get it, cause he's just seen as a CG character (except at the very beginning of the movie). Two performances that really stood out for me in this movie: Billy and the actor who played Denethor (ack can't remember his name). Billy played Pippin's emotions so wonderfully, his performance was quite moving in places and i was very impressed. Denethor just blew me away. The actor got the madness down so perfectly...i couldn't take my eyes off him. Too bad what i thought were the two best performances won't even get nominated. (1 Comment |Comment on this)
