Life goes on at work - nothing interesting there. Autopsies - same old same old. Good advertisements not to eat junk food (hardened blocked arteries, dead far too young), do drugs, drive drunk etc. etc.
On the other hand, diagnosed an interesting ovarian tumour a short while back and had it confirmed on second opinion. Case book (8 cases to write up) progressing well - good starts or almost-completes made on six out of the eight, with good progress in the relatively short time I've been doing it.
Lovelife - static at the moment. Possibilities? Someone on MSN-chat, someone in a group of people with interests similar to mine and someone somewhere I'd rather not name in case there's anyone in that place reading this. Details? Not until something happens, I'm afraid! Must preserve anonymity. Possibilities are good; I can dream, if nothing else!
I do wish someone would write a good Malory Towers fanfic; I'm feeling the lack, and don't feel motivated to write one myself at the moment. Too many other irons in the fire.
Bought myself a book on the WW1 Battle of Loos. Because I bought it direct from the author, he signed it for me! Most Unfavourable Ground, by Niall Cherry. Helion & Company Ltd. 2005. Haven't read much yet - don't want to spoil it all at once! Am waiting for my relaxing Friday evening, and will sit down with it then (and one or more espresso coffees at one or more of my favourite coffee places).
Yes, life is good. Now if only the amorous part would bring itself to life...
