Tanks!!!!


So, yesterday I was going with my mother and brother to grandmother's where here church was doing some little fair to raise funds and while we were passing on the coaster (bus) by Plaza Bolognesi there were tanks. I shit you not. Tanks. For some reason that I did not bother to check up, there were tanks, some other military vehicules and random army guys around Plaza Bolognesi here in Lima. Dunno why. The only reason I know off for tanks parading around are for our independece day and that was in july. So... weird. The only notable thing that has happened is that our "esteemed" ex president Alberto Fujimori has finally been extradited from Chile for, among other things, human rights violations; and Plaza Bolognesi is one of the many places people protesting gather. I guess they thought they would be more mutiny or something since Fujimori has many supporters and even more detractors. Meh, Plaza Bolognesi was quite empty except for the tanks though.
