Pierce Brosnan and Maria Bello meet up
After a lovely afternoon scene with one of the in house boys, who had proved to be extremely talented with his tongue, as well as in taking her whip, Maria is heading downstairs to have a drink in the bar and maybe to find a playmate for later - the boy she'd been with would not be up for anything more than conversation after taking all of that. She hadn't broken him, just bent him slightly. She sees a familiar figure in the lobby. "Pierce!" she calls, smiling. "How are you?" Even as she looks at him, again she wishes he were into women. Still, he is always a delight to talk with.
"Maria!" Pierce beams. "The only woman who would cause my eye to stray from that sweet boy I was eyeing up!" Pierce laughs and greets her with an elegant kiss to the hand and then a much heartier hug. "You've just had a very satisfactory scene haven't you? I can see it on your face."
"It's that obvious?" Maria asks, but she is still tingling. There's something really amazing about a good scene, even though she's thinking lately that she'd like more. Still, if it's meant to be it will happen. "And I'm flattered. Do you have some time to catch up? Or is the boy more alluring?"
"He'll be here another night. But you my dear...you are a passing ship who cannot be ignored. Shall we take a seat and have a drink? Maybe a meal? My treat." Pierce takes her arm and guides her to a quiet table out of the sight of that admittedly very attractive boy he has just let slip from his night's plans.
"I have absolutely no plans for the rest of the evening that couldn't be changed," Maria answers and she sits on the chair Pierce pulls out for her. "Especially not for you. You look gorgeous. And I saw Mamma Mia. You were wonderful in it."
"Not everyone's opinion but...well thank you. Sometimes you just have to push the envelope you know?"
"Well, I thought you were wonderful. So was everyone else, but I don't really know anyone else in the cast. Meryl of course I've loved as an actress for years, and Stellan and Colin too, but you I knew. And I promise never to make you sing for me. God knows they asked me to enough after Duets that I know I wouldn't put anyone else through it." She smiles. It is always good to talk with Pierce.
Pierce calls the waiter over and orders Maria's favourite sweet white wine and a red for himself. "And what to eat my dear?"
"Chicken salad," Maria answers. "I know, but I can't be too bad... well, not in eating. Going to be filming again soon. Do you have anything coming up?" she asks, casually.
"Bits and pieces," Pierce smiles. "You're a good girl eating well. Me? I don't have that discipline these days. I eat too much and certainly drink too much." Pierce looks Maria up and down. "But then your audiences want to see that perfect body of yours," he teases.
Blushing, Maria laughs. "I just know it's easier this way. If I had the choice, though..." she grins. "It's why I make sure I schedule things rigidly - so I know just when I can be a bad girl too. Best of both worlds, as they say."
"So what have you been up to at the club? Any delicious subs you want to tell Uncle Pierce all about?" Pierce nods as the waiter delivers their drinks.
"Well," she gives him the name of the boy she'd taken down earlier. "You can definitely get a lot of pain out of him before he safewords. He said he'd never done it before, but I got him there... and I won't tell you how, you'll have to figure it out for yourself. And I'd give him a few days," she giggles slightly. "I think I bent him severely. I didn't break him, though. I never break them. I've met a few other intriguing boys recently, some more than others." She smiles at the memories.
"I'll put him on my list...maybe we could do a double act on him some day?" Pierce takes a sip of his wine.
"That would be a lot of fun," Maria nods. "If I can't have you, at least I can watch you," she teases, and sips her wine.
"I am quite a show!" Pierce jokes.
"And I am as much a voyeur as a participant if the show is as good as yours," Maria answers.
"You can come watch any time you like my dear!" Pierce smirks taking her hand in his. "What an honour that would be."
"And I would love to, just call me," Maria answers. "I could even help - if you were doing a full fantasy, a doctor needs his nurse, after all..." she winks.
"To restrain those reluctant patients," Pierce smiles raising his glass. "You know Maria you are a true delight!"
"Well, thank you," Maria smiles back and sips her drink. "You are a delight as well, Pierce, and always have been."
"Well we can just go out and be a delight together!" Pierce laughs. "A formidable team my dear."
"I definitely think we could be an amazing team," Maria nods. "I don't know if the poor boy would know what hit him with us both..." she laughs.
"Pun intended?" Pierce smirks.
"Pun very much intended," Maria answers with a smile.
