Time for a quiet fansplosion here.
This game is SO. BEAUTIFUL. If Abyss looked like this (and it was on its way there) I would just play it over and over and never bother with another game ever again. XD
I'm up to chapter 4 and my dormant classical music nerd has been truly awakened! I really love how elements of Chopin's life and the world around him have been intertwined into this crazy near-death fantasy land. If you told me at ten or twelve while I was learning Chopin that I'd be playing a video game with him as one of the main characters one day, I totally wouldn't have believed you.

Well shit, I haven't posted here in ages. HAVE A GANT.
I'm still recovering from a bout of the flu, so I stayed home. Apart from sleeping and rolling around going "aahh hurts", I've played through the first chapter of Gyakuten Saiban 2 with the English translation. Despite being a Miles fangirl, Phoenix and Gumshoe are always good value. XDDD Especially Phoenix. Oh Phoenix~~~
Speaking of Miles, I think I'm getting my laptop today. :O EXPECT CRAZY ARTS IN FYOOCHA (well, maybe once my tablet arrives too).
And speaking of all of the above, I was already tossing around the idea of doing a small run (like 50 max, which is about half my usual run size) of the PW doujin as a really deluxe doujin, but now I have an excuse! Now to convince myself a metallic paper cover is doable... oh, who am I kidding, metallic paper all the way.

I don't normally follow RPs in my fandom, but it sure is brilliant when gyakusai_rp fun just happens to spill into regular comment threads on people's journals. I LOVE THIS FANDOM. XD

In ozzaa news, I'm still meandering through DDS2 whenever I feel like it, and had a brief flirtation with The Sims 2 DS but the fucker keeps crashing on me. I'll beat both games into submission eventually (yeah, like when I STOP DRAWING MILES EDGEWORTH ALL THE TIME).

I'm almost finished! I'm halfway through Episode 5 now, which is the last one. They bring in the funky forensics stuff for that episode since it's the extra one they added for the DS... jolly good fun!

Unrelated, but I know a couple of people are Wild Arms fans... I picked up the Alter Code F artbook at a convention last year and it's one of the most beautiful artbooks I own. I did a few super-huge scans for Ka recently, so have at them! (They're like 300-400k each.)

I've completely put DDS2 aside for this because I'm addicted. My Nintendogs are lucky they're getting fed at all.
And I can't write much until you know, a couple of you get to Chapter 2. Then the spoilerful babbling behind cuts may commence!

I just started playing this and I don't want to overload the LJ flist with my babbling about it... YET.
I know Vera's playing it, but why the hell has nobody else I know been playing this game?! The dialogue is an absolute cack, the drama is incredible and the main character is just so adorably daft I want to hug his head. Plus I'm convinced he's gay because he kind of groans at breast-boiyoing tactics from witnesses. Gay with the other 24-year-old lawyer in the game, preferably.
Expect serious amounts of fanporn for this one in future. >_>;

HARVEST MOON FOR GIRLS GET.
It's the GBA version. I haven't played it much, but winning features so far are:
1. You really are an OL type doing the Seachange thing.
2. The opening sequence involves a beautifully interactive exchange with the mayor that may well involve more wanton violence than any Harvest Moon game, ever. And it's all because you're a pissed-off girlie.
The bad thing about HM is that I've talked to other girls about knocking up the girls in it for so long that... well, I have no idea which guy to go for! I'm sure things will sort themselves out though.

This always makes me go "lollerskates": someone grabs one of my pics of, say... Ash Crimson or Zelos and Kratos... and then posts it on a ridiculously straight forum (like, uh, snk-capcom or IGN). I don't mind that they've done that, since it's not like they're pretending they drew it or anything. The kicker is that they accompany it with something along the lines of: "Awesome - they don't actually look gay in this pic!"
Ah, the poor kids. I almost feel sorry for them. XD
Obviously the universe realises I've been having a crappy day because it's been throwing delicious ToS-fic at me left, right and centre! :D~
