| Bio: | A cat the size of a calf flowed into the open, eyes of yellow fire, short sleek hair; the power reek around it was stronger than the musky, mordant catstink that the wind blew to her. The creature squatted on the other side of the youth, put a large paw on his chest, and extruded claws that shone ivory in the moonlight. It seemed to nod a greeting at her, then turned its massive head and snarled at the youth.
"Pishbadlarr," he whispered, his voice hoarse with fear. It was a power name, the name of one of the Tweens that wandered freely about Kyatawat.
The Tweencat stepped across the Tektayain, stropped itself against Kitya, absurdly like a kitchen moggie feeling affectionate, then glided away into the grass, silent as the wind.
Kitya stood, her knees aching, acid in her throat. "I hope you got the message, little man." Her mouth twitched into a brief smile. "I hope I did."
