Current.] Maks approaches the door to the room he's requested at the Est, hoping that as usual the Est elves have worked their magic. Behind the door should be a 50s style diner, complete with one Matt Bomer-Chmerkovskiy in the role of bad boy. Not as bad as Maks, though, he'll bet. Maks has gone all out for this occasion, leather pants and jacket, plain white t-shirt, motorcycle boots, hair slicked back in a duck's ass style. He's got his sneer in place and he's ready to show this little hick town what's what. Smiling only on the inside, ( he slides the key card into the lock and enters the diner ) Comments screened. Matt drops the suitcases off to the side of the elevator doors and spins around on his foot. "That's a Grandma saying," he informs his husband who is exiting the elevator right behind him. "You must have noticed how fond she is of sayings and stuff," he chuckles. Maksim has sailed through family Christmas celebrations, gatherings at the family homestead, parental visits to New York City and time spent alone with Megan; ( but two days with Grandma and Grandaddy Bomer have been quite the experience for the love of his life ) Comments screened; feedback always welcome. |

Just a wee bit schmoopy. *g* Backdated to December 17, 2011.] Maks gives his mother one last kiss and waves goodbye as the limo driver closes the car door and settles in to drive his parents and brother to the Waldorf for the night. He steps back onto the sidewalk, looking up ahead where Matt is doing the same with his family. He and Matt had both wanted to share a meal with just the people closest to them tonight, forgoing the usual rehearsal dinner for this more personal gathering the night before their wedding. Maks smiles as Sissy pats her son's cheek, Matt smiling widely at her. It's the one thing Maks had been hoping for on this night - ( that his husband-to-be would be demonstrably happy ) Comments screened. Feedback loved. |

| 3:40 pm | Life is Good Rihanna posted something asking if people had made fools of themselves on the internet. I haven't experienced that yet, although I'm sure it's coming. I did, however, lose my temper on television and the gossip rags are having a field day with it. Two weeks now and it's just getting sillier. I don't care, though. And you know why I don't care? I don't care because my boy is working on a movie that involves male strippers, and there is practicing going on at home. A lot of practicing going on at home. Yeah, life is very, very good. |
