I don't even own an xbox, but I can't stop reading the Xbox Account Suspension forum. It is lolicious.
Please reverse this it will never happen again and it never happend in the first place
Good afternoon, today I was permanently banned. Im not quite sure but on the email, it says accepting microsoft points for assistance. Yes, someone sent me a code for free microsoft points and I accepted it so I could in return play xbox with him. I was planning on helping him learn to play X-Box live games. I was hoping to help him reach his desired level legitamently. I did not realize it was illegal. I was playing Modern Warfare and I offered my assistance to help him reach tenth prestige legit, the people offered me free microsoft points to help him get tenth prestige. By this I assumed they meant play with them and their friends for a few weeks until they reached tenth prestige. I never intended to take part or offer a modded lobby, I do not have any thing modded or illegal. I never knew offering assitance was illegle i was going to help them legit. During one of my messages, I menitioned 10th prestige lobby, by this I simply meant we were in a lobby together and we were going to play Xbox live games to reach tenth prestige. I used lobby because Call of Duty refers to it as a lobby when you have a group of players waiting to play. Xbox, as you can see I am a loyal customer and have been for three years. I am begging you to reverse your decision and please un-ban me. I apologize for anything I have done that is against the terms and conditions and your code of conduct. If you decide to un-ban me I will thoroughly review your rules and will abide by them. I have never done anything that is illegal before and did not intend for this to be illegal. I abid by your rules, I buy your products and I support your brand. I know it is hard for Xbox to remove a permanent ban but please consider and give me another chance to prove to you that you have made a good decision and I will do the right things. I apologize for any inconvienece that I may have caused you or other players. my gamertag is : Costenbader - please Xbox and microsoft. Please give me a second and final chance. I care about Xbox and have spent countless hours on various games attempting to reach the point I did. Thank you for your time and consideration of this matter.

While it is certainly possible that you put forth the offer to legitimately assist someone in achieving 10th prestige in Modern Warfare 2, your additional offer to reach illegitimate ranks on the leaderboards, unlock all challenges, and provide infections in exchange for a very specific amount of Microsoft points, which would allow access for a very specific number of people?
Legit. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
The suspension will stand as issued.
