The look on Sirius' face when he saw the bike was priceless. It was enough to see the lines of worry and age fade from his face as happiness wrote itself across his features.
However, he still insists that he needs to get me something. Should I tell him that I already have the best Christmas present I could ever want? He is free of Azkaban, free from running, his innocence restored and he is living here with me. What more should I want? Perhaps I should... Ask for him in a big red bow. There is one thing we have never tried over the years and I want to.
That can be his Christmas present to me.

I managed to talk Hagrid into selling me Sirius' old bike. I did not know what else to get him, but I hope he will like it and that it will remind him of all the good times we had on the bike. It's really a beautiful piece of machinery. I even got a chance to oil the leather by hand before I had to cover it up so he wouldn't see it.

In the time since he has been in Azkaban... I have missed my dear friend. I actually shouldn't be calling him friend, in the days before he left, he was quite a bit more than that. But since he has been there, we couldn't continue our relationship, naturally.
That was also before he was cleared. I had seen him a few times after he had escaped but never for very long. Now we're just waiting for him to see Harry again and to learn about his name being cleared.
I can't wait to see him again.
