Thread freezings are always irritating, but these ones are so early and so pointless and so effective at immediately shutting down any humor that they're even more irritating than usual, I think.

I don't read it either, so I have no idea. I sort of had the impression that the meme mostly didn't talk about fandom_wank anymore. On the other hand, the meme has people from fandom_wank on it, and a great many people find staroverthebay and mcity irritating. So, even if the meme doesn't talk about f_w much, it could still gripe about clueless and/or irritating people. ...Much as we do, in fact. And I suspect a lot of them are the same people.

On that topic: staroverthebay got 12 votes for April Fool's day mod (at least, that's what I remember from looking at it yesterday), and I had no clue who some of the people voting for her were.

No, meme is generally anti-FW so people said the mock-election was lame and then they moved on. Meme doesn't talk that much about FW anymore. Mostly because of TS and TS-impersonators. They troll so often, people write other anti-FW sentiments as TS again or they are just simply tired of discussing FW so they ignore it. The 3rd secret is a pretty much exactly how "TS" talks on-meme. And he talks a lot. Plus, people who like FW (like myself) know better than to bring it up because of the backlash.

So while the FW-memers know about SOTB, memers who don't read FW wouldn't.
