I love capitalism. This is the truth. I love things, I love buying things, I love having things. This is bad according to The Gospel According to Larry, but that was a bad book and capitalism isn't just great for having things. It's the variety! The creativity of product!

I walked through Target today. A Justice League notebook? Shiny! A plastic castle cake topper with electronic candle inside? Clever! Stuff I can cut out and stick on my walls - "come alive with your own creativity" with guitar drawings and "you rock"? Excellent! Filing cabinets with curly patterning and baskets and baskets filled with one dollar items like Care Bear markers and butterfly shaped silicone cupcake pans and tiny painted garbage pails? Yes!

But magazine racks that don't fit binders? why have you forsaken me, capitalism??

Seriously, I've been to four different stores and nobody has something I can stick between my monitor and the wall and also hold some bloody three-ring binders so I can organize my writing. I only need one more inch in length and they would have fit comfortably. Why, why, why? >:(
