MwahahahahHAHAHAHAHHA :DAJK LAJ :AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!1111
1890est is totally live and kickin'!
Well, almost. I still need to upgrade my PC (LOL) although I'm in no hurry for that. I do need to invest in a wireless keyboard for the PC though, just as you can see, it's currently on top of the original Whack. The shared network drive failed on arrival--the drive itself seems to be the problem. Currently though the computers are networked to share my second hard drive. The iMac (dubbed either Nirvana or "The Porn Box") has no connection to the internets though, and the PC itself cannot access the Mac, although the Mac can access it.
Whack II is so disgustingly hot I just want to lick it. =( I'm using the Wacom mouse due to lack of table space (as you can see), but it's working just fabulously. The Intuos3 also got rid of the strips that were at the top of my Intuos1 (still connected to the PC) so now there are handy buttons that act as NIFTY SHORTCUTS which is cool and awesome cause my Mac keyboard is a bit out of place but now I can just press buttons on Whack II instead.
I miss my old desk which had tons of shelf space for all my toys, but I'll get some wall shelves at my job tomorrow and that'll settle that. I also lost all my drawers (which is why there's an ugly box under my desk ATM), so I need to get a rolling filing cabinet or something to shove my documents and office crap into.
The iMac is much more impressive than the MacMini, and since I still have my PC, I'm not exposed to a sudden learning curve in learning a new OS. The screen is just LIKEWHOA--seriously, it's almost as big as my TV (2" smaller even!), and apparently Steph could comfortably watch vids from it from the bed like, ten feet away. I'm pretty excited about using it.
Although I haven't drawn anything yet. =_= But I have plans, ho ho ho!
This also means I really have no true excuse to put off doing uh... any type of 1890 E Street work now. ... haahha... hahahaha... ha..... .... *flings self off a cliff*
In the meantime, got to see the movie Versus. It's like Devil May Cry, only with zombies and yakuza and it's like, the BEST bad action movie I've ever seen! Seriously. XD The action is fun and the lines corny/cheesy/funny, and you could tell the people making it were out to have a good time and it shows. Definitely a flick that much be shown in a con hotel room after cosplay or something.
Had a great time seeing the Austinites again. I really should take advantage of seeing them more. But in the meantime, we got cosplay plans for A-kon solidified. Our Tear(ToA)/Mitsuru(P3) agreed to join us, so now we have Estelle in the Heroic Princess alt-outfit. ♥♥ Jon decided to go as Raven (bwa ha!) and I settled into Dark Enforcer Yuri with Bunny Ears attachment.
oh god i'm poor again sob
