You know the skit with Guy asking Luke about his memories when they first enter Choral Castle? And Luke just dismisses the fact that he doesn't remember and Guy's like 'I'm surprised.'
... And I'm like, 'uh, aren't you the one that harps him about your bet?' So the skit seems a little out of place/context when you realize about the bet later on...

Er, hm. XD; You know, when I first played, Choral Castle was a REAL pain. Now that I knew what to do, the puzzle went so quick!

The scene with Guy seriously freaking out still touches me. Poor kid.
So is the scene with Jade getting extremely nervous and worried about the machine.
... those two are totally going drinking together later on, I bet. ♥ I hope porn ensues. XD

Forgot that Luke didn't realize Guy's family was dead. ^^;

Knowing what was actually going on with the story, this scene also made a lot more sense.

I still love the scene where Guy lays the smackdown on Sync. And he's like 'it's you!' and Sync's probably making kissy faces at him or something. XD;

Uhm. Arietta was a lot easier than I remember. XD; Maybe cause I had Jon playing Luke...

Uhm. Sword Dancer was a lot easier than I remember. And I didn't even face it now in my first game, but when you come back to head to Akzeriuth later. Uh. Wow. XD; Well, the AD Skills probably helped and the 2x XP... and I had Jon playing Luke while I played Jade and gave commands to Tear and Anise... but yeah. Totally bitch OWNED.

His comment about how Luke changed really makes me wonder.
I bet the Luke before probably actually thought of Guy as a servant.
Although I sometimes wonder about that, since I think the Luke before was highly independent, given his thoughts on how he wanted to reform Kimlasca with Natalia--I mean, god, he was like, around ten then or something! So he had to be extremely intelligent and very firm in his convictions. "I don't need a servant to tie my shoes. I need someone I can talk to as a person without rank or barrier."

I don't think the Luke before was a horrible person, given all things... how he wanted stuff to change, and especially how he felt about the Score. I don't think he would've viewed Guy as a servant, but I don't have any doubt he may have possibly treated Guy like one...?

Hm. Not sure where I'm going with those thoughts...

So, Jon was there for the scene where Luke's hyperresonance first reacts? Yanno? With Master Badtouch? And he and I BOTH DIED LAUGHING SO HARD because honestly, it's the most gayest thing I've EVER seen in a video game EVER. Even IN context it sounds gay, and it doesn't help that Van's VA really, ah, caresses the words.

God, I love Jade. "Oh, you got me. I thought it might be amusing." He's such an ASS. It's LOVE.

Made SURE to do the Ant Lion Man this time. >.< I'm NOT missing out on the sidequests linked through him!

You know, knowing what I know, I had a feeling that Sync was ordered to target Guy specifically. Since, yanno, how the curse slot works and some people would be privy to just why Guy would be the best candidate. why are you torturing your one true love like that? why?

Okay, for my reference:
Isofons = perfect duplicates (same fon frequency and everything)
Fomicry = makes replicas (just copies/imitations) but not capable of making isofons

And yes, Lorelei's fon frequency is... pi. GO YOU. I have to wonder how many takes it took Mr. Thornton to rattle off those numbers so smoothly and without hesitation though?

DIST~ God, I love his crazy laugh there. And him and Jade are SO crazy. XD Jade's voice drips so much sarcasm here that I think I'm falling in love with with Mr. Thornton's amazing self all over again. Jade must SERIOUSLY be a frustrating friend. I think Peony's about the only one that can handle him right. is this why peony's the ultimate seme of toa, next to master badtouch?

Cecille! I'm totally NOT missing that subquest this time. =O I had a feeling that's where 'Cecil' came from when I first played, but it feels good to know I was right.

Okay, Jade thinking Pere is familiar has to make me wonder.
Wouldn't it be neat if young!Jade did go to Hod (and that's how he recognized the Shield)? ... heee, I think that just opened up a few more possibilities for a certain ship...

Hahahaha, I do like Natalia. Her and Guy are totally cute and if I wasn't so hot for... well, Guy with everyone else, I'd totally ship them madly.

Man, the skit about the sword in the palour? I didn't watch Guy's various facial reactions while Tear was talking the first time, but yeah. Did this time. His eyes go wide and then sad as she mentions it. I don't think he was actually present for the... ah... 'homecoming,' but I SWEAR I get the image that Duke Fabre kept the skull up on display. I mean, to actually display the sword is freaking horrible enough...

Although, I suppose you can say the Duke keeps the sword up as a reminder? That it was so horrible that this is a momento to say 'never again' rather than a 'trophy of victory'? I'd like to think the Duke is compassionate like that--that he did what he did in accordance with the Score and thus feels true remorse and regret for what happened...

... dammit, I think I missed Tear's maid costume again!

I noticed this before, but I wanted to make a note of it now:
In Guy and Pere's room:
Guy's side is completely covered with fontech. What a geek. We know what he does when he's not being molested by Master Badtouch or molesting Luke during his off time.
But you'll also notice that above his bed, the pennant--for House Fabre, presumably?--is folded over, while on Pere's side, it's not. HMMMM
Also, Pere really loves flowers. I bet he always has. That'd be awesome.

Luke's room is all by its lonesome. =O And that huge ass portrait of Master Van on his wall. bet he jerks off to it every night XD;;;

Guy lounges in his room the morning after, whining about the work load left behind cause he had to go searching for Luke.

... wait, what does Guy do then?! I thought he was a baby-sitter. ^^;

Wait, hang on, lemme put Luke in his princely outfit before we meet the King. =D

Why did they have to tell him about that prophecy? Luke does NOT need any bigger of a head than he's already got. =.=

This whole scene with Master Badtouch screams so much emotional blackmail and scarring and GOD, this pairing is just Not Right. =.= Oh Luke.

I STILL say they should've kept the use of Van in the party as 'Warrior of Love.'

Man, I've been craving sweets a lot lately.

.. and honestly, Peony/Jade has like, the best fanart.

Although these have GOT to be the cutest artworks EVER for Abyss. ZOMG. They so make me smile. (And there's some spoilers, so be careful!) But they feature all the cast and it's just so fluffy friendship and funny and YES. (I love the one with Guy running from this huge line of the female cast, and Jade's like, all walking like a flaming queen in the back and Asch is all /an, 'wtf are you doing?!' ... while stepping on Luke.) ... I also love #25, but it's a total spoiler. XD
