Lonnnnnng this time. Did a lot of gaming. ♥

And you know, reading the synopsis is pretty much reading Luke's journal. You find out a few things. (Like how Luke's father was always cold to him. Well, you find out this in a subquest too, but the subquest can be easily missed. And how Luke felt really nauseous when he first saw Asch and actually did puke later afterwards... which explains why he was holding his stomach in the following scene? XD;)



Natalia get! And Tear's out of the party. XD Sorry, Booboo, Katz, I know you dislike her, but her AD Skills are a lot more useful than Tear's at the moment, so she's able to heal and attack more efficiently then Miss Die A Lot.

Anise. XD It's really too bad that it's hard to get across her changes in personality in English. In Japanese, she speaks very politely and cutely when Jade and Luke are concerned, but she can be very vulgar when she wants to be. At least we got to see the 'rip her a new hole' as a ... whole new level on Anise's extremely crazy personality. ♥

Luke's an ass, but so is Natalia, which just says they're made for each other. (Poor Guy.)

Jade and Guy need to stop flirting. =O

And I wasn't able to trigger it before, but Natalia's Bad Cooking Skits get! Looks like you had to trigger Luke's bad cooking one first and then hers. Hahaha, awesome. I always wondered about the conclusion...

I never mentioned it before, but Luke's hand waving thing is so gay.

Oh, how CONVIENENT that there's an exit there. Yah rly.

NATALIA: "Guy, you go down first. Catch me if I slip."
GUY: *er* "You're asking me to do that, knowing full well I can't?"

She totally bosses him around and he's just really so unfailingly polite to her. XD;

And wait. What? What exactly do you plan on having Guy do when you and Luke are married, Natalia? ... threesome? XD;

ASCH: Aren't you the ladies man?
HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA JEALOUS MUCH ASCH? WHAT YOU WANT A PIECE OF LUKE TOO? GO AHEAD THERE'S PLENTY OF HIM AROUND.

Okay, there is a skit where after you confront Asch, Guy does make a mention about if they're long-lost brothers or something like that. So no, he had no idea what was going on--at least initially--so that kills part of the conversation I had with Katz earlier. Good to know. I had a feeling he probably didn't, but may have developed suspicions later on based on what they found.

Oh, Asch. You're such a... well, to borrow a word from Bunnbunn, a DOUCHE.

"Received Hod Citizen Registry." On my first playthrough, that was my first hint about just who Guy was. XD

I forgot to mention but Guy looks really good doing Tiger Blade. It's kinda stupid looking in Symphonia when Lloyd does it, but when Guy does it, it's all flips and prettyness. I think it's helped by the fact that Guy has extremely gorgeous, long legs... ♥ ♥ ♥ /rice

Hahaha, the showers are awesome guy talk version. Guy's happy face always makes me smile. I wonder just what he was imagining with the shower though. (And the fact that Jade noticed. Hahaha.)

Okay, I have a question. If Asch is already trying to rebel against Van at this point, why did he take Ion and unlock the Sephiroth here?

"That one, Guy... he knows." He knows what, Sync? About you and Ion? Or Asch and Luke? This scene always made me wonder about who Guy was referring to when he said, 'They really are the same.' He could've been looking at Sync--or Asch. In Luke's journal though, Luke does make a point that Guy was concerned about Sync, so...

Although looking back... crap. I missed the event where Jade talks about how he makes his spear appear out of nowhere. Katz told me about it, but I didn't see it and I missed it again! AUGH.

The Artes Council person in Kaitzur mentioned that they don't know exactly where all the members of the Council are located. When questioned about why this is so, Guy mentions that it's for 'various reasons.' Is it because of the War--and the politics behind it? Or because, as Guy says later, the Sigmund style is the flawless version of the Albert style--where Sigmund took upon the Albert style and improved on it so he could better protect Albert, but kept it a secret (thus, the word-of-mouth passing down of the artes) so as not to disgrace Albert? Hmm.

During the battle convo with Legretta, some notes:
She calls Luke a child. (He gets understandably upset.)
Guy demands to know if she's doing this under Van's orders. [!!!!!!!!] (She says she's just here to get Tear.)
Some other things are said, but I only remember Luke yelling about not ignoring him.

XD;;; I focused too much on trying to steal from Legretta that I didn't even use any mystic artes and so got only a measly 20 grade...

I did try the Radiant Howl extension earlier though. That's a pretty nasty spell there, Ion. o.O

Understandably, Luke gets a little upset about being kept in the dark, but I like how he thinks everything going on concerns him. (Some of them do, yes.)

Jade really does get angry about the fomicry thing. And it's interesting to note that he first blames Dist.

And Akzeriuth goes kaput. Jon was really irritated by Luke, and I'll have to admit, he does get more obnoxious as we climb toward the climax scene here. But he is a child--as such, Luke was looking toward guidance toward the idol that he felt 'understood' him...

Guy and Ion seem like the only ones who don't get massively irritated at Luke. (Ion cause he feels partially responsible, and Guy because he feels responsible for raising Luke in a way that made him easy to manipulate.) Jade got irritated the worst, although Anise held the grudge longest...

Oh man, it was touch and go, but I manage to defeat Asch this time. XD; Apparently, doing your OL against Asch allows HIM to trigger HIS without going into OL, so I got caught in Rending Saber... just BARELY managed to get my lone lemon gummi down in time before he started wauling on me. Got the middle scene and of course, the ending where Luke's victorious instead of Asch.

If you lost as Luke, Asch would try to kill him but be stopped by Tear.

If you won, Asch blames himself and calls himself pathetic for not being able to surpass his replica. (Guess the trend didn't just start in the game, but something he had for a long time--feeling inferior to the copy that took away everything...) Luke is stopped by the magical lights--most likely when they ended up synchronizing too closely.

Asch states he didn't know about Van's plan till after he attacked Luke in Kaitzur, and even then, it was only that Van had planned to destroy the Outer Lands. He didn't know about Akzeriuth until, of course, it was too late.

Guy... really is cold to Asch. This is still a point of interest for me.

OKAY STOP. I was reading the journal synopsis and when everyone leaves Luke to go with Asch... when he lists everyone that leaves him, he goes, '[...] Ion... and Guy [...]'! Oh goodness, he was truly hurt by Guy choosing to leave him too.

And... whoops! XD; I managed to trigger the 'Convincing Thief' skit, which is the skit you get when you put Natalia in the Star of Malkuth outfit--unfortunately, it has short-haired Luke in it. ... and Luke's... not yet cut his hair, and he's only a voice inside Asch's head. XD;

"I knew you'd choose him."
"..? Did Van tell you? Well, that's not the only reason why..."
Hm!!!!! Looks like Van DID tell Asch about Guy's history (!!!... wonder why... was it to manipulate Asch into not returning to his home? knowing that he couldn't trust his own attendant and friend?), and that's why Asch was so 'whatever' about Guy being cold to him. He thought that their friendship was obsolete because Guy didn't consider Luke to be the true Fabre, and thus allied himself with Luke in order to go against Asch since Asch is the true Fabre... interesting!

Hahahaha. Jade is cute. "This Luke considers Guy a friend as well." ♥

What's the point of the "Orticion" name that Jade mumbles about? It probably has something to do with Dist...

?! Th-the data about Hod... Jade said he was the one that had the Malkuth military take the information at that time. Th-that means...
He... he really was insane about his work... to do that!
(Then... that's why he recognized Pere... and possibly why he suspected about...)

Asch moves to stand in front of Natalia before the boss shows up. Aw.

After Luke cuts his hair, if you're using one of his costumes, apparently you get another scene.
TEAR: I was so surprised when you took off the wig and cut your hair.
LUKE: Well, how else was I supposed to cut it?
TEAR: What now? Going to make a long-haired one?
LUKE: ... that's not a bad idea!
TEAR: ...
LUKE: What? I was just kidding.
Cute.

Guy~ ♥ Such an awesome friend. He's so awesome. ;_;
Although when Luke thanked him, his face. XD;

"You're you and Asch is Asch. It doesn't matter if you're a replica--you're real to me." =O

Next scene, Guy brings up the the line that changed his entire life: "You said, you can't go forward if you keep looking back." =O
Luke completely dismisses it, which means he forgot what happened afterwards. XD;

Having Jade cook successfully triggered a skit of him and Guy. (He and Guy seem to have a lot of skits together). Apparently the Colonel lives alone--so that's why he's a decent cook. No servants or anything. (TRUE BACHELOR). He likes eating alone. Man, Jade really can be aloof... Then we find out Guy's pretty decent too--as Guy rambles on about fontech, we find out that he'll get so involved tinkering with them that he'll miss a meal, so he learned the basics. Jade's happy Guy's a decent cook (which makes my fangirling bells go TINGTING), but mainly it's because it reduces the chance of getting something inedible down to just the royal pair. .. ORLY JADE ARE YOU SURE IT'S NOT CAUSE YOU WANT GUY TO LIVE WITH YOU?

Hahahaha, when Anise pops up right behind Guy and he screams and runs to hide behind Luke. God, it's so cute.

Hahahaha, the Girl version of the Showers are awesome... Anise is a total perv, and hahaha! SHE ASKS TEAR IF VAN IS TEAR'S TYPE OF MAN AND TEAR RUNS OFF EMBARRASSED AND HAHAHAHAHAHAHA total incest, RIGHT THERE.

Hm, Guy and Asch were playmates, as Natalia mentions it in a skit she has with Asch.

In a skit about Van and Tear growing up in Yulia City... Van didn't like Yulia City. He rose through the ranks of the Oracle Knights very quickly, and was mocked because he was so young but so high ranked. ... that's why he grew a beard--to look older... lol, that's honestly... really cute. XD

The Colonel does admit to being too thin, so the thinness on his character model was definitely deliberate.

In Natalia's mastered recipe cooking skit, she asks Guy to draw a portrait of the meal. ?????? Guy draws?

In Tear's first cooking skit, she mentions that Van taught her--and that he's a very good cook.

In Guy's mastered recipe cooking skit, they make fun of him as a perfect house husband. XD It should be noted that Jade takes some interest in this. ♥♥

In Jade's mastered recipe cooking skit, he totally makes fun of Guy and Luke. XD Anise tells Natalia that Jade's glasses are why he can cook so well, and Jade plays along and Luke totally falls for it. Then Jade says that his knife is made of fontech and Guy totally goes into fanboy mode. So cute.

One of the Sheridan skits has Guy go into total fanboy mode. SO CUTE. Tear makes a note that Guy is normally composed, but he turns into a child like this.

There is an early skit where Tear wonders if Guy knew Van.

And there's a lot of skits for when you lose battles to bosses to give you tips to defeat them!

Whew! Okay, I think that's enough gaming for today. I'll explore Keterburg tomorrow.
