Twilight Zone'ish TOS?

I just saw the Star Trek TOS episode "The Devil in the Dark", wherein Kirk befriended a 70s equivalent to ectoplasm, commanded Spock to mindmeld with the said ectoplasmic creature, and had Bones patch the thing up after it was injured in a gunfight. (No, not at the O.K. Corral.)

This creature, Horta, was a silicon-based life form, non-existant in the universe yet Capt. Kirk was 'familiar with the theory of non-carbon based life forms.' Horta then agreed to help a human mining colony and raise all her thousands little-horta offsprings help humans with the mining.

Whatever you say...

Theory on Leisure

Leisure is something I don't have because other people have too much of it.

That's a fact of life I realized a week ago when someone stole the company flag. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a replacement for something like that? Luckily, I wasn't the one hunting flag-makers down. Unfortunately, I was the one taking up our flag-maker-hunter's duties while she was doing her thing.

I don't have leisure because I spend my days solving problems that shouldn't exist in the first place.

May the miserable little thief will suffer all eternity in captivity with a gigantic Tinky-Winky. Like, I don't even have time to lead my own life let alone go around stealing traffic signs or anything like that which I equal to stealing flags.

Congrats, if you read through and understood this. That's more than I can say.

Bring it on

I should get this started.

Howdy, folks. Beautiful day and all. The current mood is adamant for two reasons: one, I like references to adamantium. Two, I'm adamant to do any and all Internet business now for good. Not that I didn't like working with the computer, quite the contrary; it's just that I expect to be tormented by a modem connection and really, have you ever tried to actually do something with a modem? No ma'am, I need a broadband just to survive.

The website's finally going and I'm doing some updating on FF.net so I really can't complain. If the Lord of the Rings rings a bell (I wasn't planning the little pun, swear to Eru), go check out my FF.net profile:

http://www.fanfiction.net/profile.php?userid=254393

Yeah, I'll go hit something now. Hit the hay, maybe? ;)
