| "Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan" is such a fun show. :D Ah, those kids sure do try their best, but they're not portrayed as morons for getting it wrong. They just haven't got the experience their dad's had in solving mysteries. (Mr. Chan himself is quite badass in a way. Not necessarily as a fighter, but he knows just the way to nail the real culprit.)
And though I love them all, I'd have to say my favorites are:
Anne, cause I do love tomboys and she's one done RIGHT; aside from a few little comments here and there she does it without being a Fauxminist Tsundere Sue. Yeah, she does play the "it's cause I'm a GIRL" card in the racing ep, but my headcanon is Mr. Chan wouldn't let her drive because she's 14 and doesn't even have a learner's permit. XD
Stanley, cause he's HILARIOUS. XD I've made macros and about half of them involve him in some way. HE CROSSDRESSES, TOO! And isn't too manly to flirt with men while in disguise. And he's hot.
Tom, because he's a classic nerd but not stereotypical; uses big words and likes studying a lot but isn't a puny weakling who gets shoved into lockers or talks in a snorty voice or suffers a bazillion allergies. And he's adorable.
Suzie, because she's girly and pretty but not a brainless damsel in distress who's afraid to get dirty. Her character type tended to get the short end of the stick in the old days. *huggles poor Daphne Blake*
Nancy, because she's adorable. And plump without it being her one defining character trait OR having the usual food obsession tied to her even if she does have Big Eater tendencies.
And the bands' songs are so friggin' catchy. So many earworms. XD But they're GOOD earworms. My personal favorites are "Mystery Woman", "Whodunit", "I Got the Goods on You", "Happy to Be With You" and "Number One Son".
I also adore the lack of hardcore sibling rivalry. Sure, the kida argue and we get a few clashes (Anne poking at her big sis "can't you think about anything other than clothes", Scooter and Mimi arguing, the occasional battle of the sexes) but for the most part they all seem to get on wonderfully. And they act like PEOPLE, not hopeless stereotypes. And Henry and Stanley are one epic comic duo. XD
Also in my headcanon Henry and Anne are the worst cooks ever. I dunno why I picked them. XD; And Tom isn't bullied like most nerds because of one time that the jerk jock was all "hay I eat your coffeecake NERD" but it was mold Tom was growing for a project and the jerk got sick. So now the bullies fear Tom and his poisoned mold cakes of death.
