This is my Top Ten list for 2007. I wanted to do a top ten films list, like I did two years ago, but for the second year in a row, I can't even come up with ten films I liked enough to list, so I'm just doing this. Just know that Hot Fuzz would have been my number one film of the year.
10. Dumbledore's true desires exposed!
Just as I was losing most of my interest in Harry Potter, possibly for good, that whore JKR threw poor Albus out of the closet, like Perez Hilton threw Lance Bass out of the closet. Except not. And I'm still kind of bored with Harry Potter. Even the fallout seemed less amusing than it should have, but this may be that fandom itself was just burned out oh Harry Potter (yeah, right).

Seska is a brilliant, bitchy whore of awesome and I love the way she undermines everything ever that she can for the hell of it (lulz Sedite).
I love Cardassians. Is totally not watching lots of Star Trek I love how they flirt by arguing. Except Garak, who flirts by existing.
I think I finally changed my mind on the geeky tattoo I'll never get. Obsidian Order insignia is more ridiculous than last idea Y/MFY?
Oh and I finally made a del.icio.us account. Still filling it. All of my HP recs are in a text file on my old lappy (along with over half my Star Trek recs and lots of misc recs), so I can't access them here, but I think I remember some of them. So, it's mostly Heroes recs with a side of Garak/Bashir. I'll link it when it's a bit more meaty. I think it's a much nicer system than the text file I forgot to transfer over or the LJ memories that can only include LJ pages. Especially since next time someone asks me for recs, I can link them there and just let them figure out what they want.

This link contains spoilers for the movie Pretty Persuasion (which I highly recommend seeing if you haven't):
Indians are taking over Iraq, apparently.
And does anyone know where I could get my hands on the opening song from that movie, "Gare a Toi", written by Gilad Benamram and performed by The Marionette Sextet? I cannot find it anywhere, even for moneys, other than streaming on Gilad's MySpace, where I have been listening to it on a loop for a good half hour. I listened to a few of his other songs and he reminds me of Yoko Kanno a lot. Considering that of my 15 gigs of music, an entire gig and a half is her music, I think you could say that I officially love her music and I wish there was an album of his I could buy, rather than just streaming (you can stream more of his music at his website, but I've only listened to what's on his Myspace so far).

Drunken list of things to be thankful for:
1. Crazy-ass lovable family
2. Crazy-ass whiny fucking sometimes-lovable friends (And Leah and Kat, who have infinite get-out-of-whiny-jokes-free cards)
3. American gluttony (the main force behind this awesome food-centric holiday other than small-pox blankets, of course!)
4. Older men. Because men my own age are baboons and at least the older men can buy me dinner to make up for it.
5. Robust Servers. At least there's no racewank being posted today. Downside: not watching Katarin hand someone their own ass.
6. Awesome teachers and school environment. Awesome tiny little department of win.
7. The inevitable wanksplosion that Christmas will cause on the internet. Possible Thanksgiving wank, even.
8. The Enterprise. My car kicks ass, while efficiently burning fuel and being roomy as all fuck.
9. The internet. You bring me hours of joy and procrastination.
10. Nintendo DS. What did I do with my time before you? Was I collecting stamps or something?
Happy Thanksgiving, American people on my flist! May you all be slightly inebriated and nauseatingly full! And I hope all the non-Americans also have a pleasant and possibly inebriated day.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH WEEDS!!!! I hate how short the seasons are. Last year's finale was rediculous, but at least this one was less CRAZYFUCK.
