first, second, third, fuarth?
Series: Original [Yeven and Clones =X]
Comments: Just gonna explain where the world comes from. Then maybe get into Yeven's part in it at a later post [despite there being no plot], since I actually have that written down somewhere else, and gawd is it long *_*. I guess Yeven's just all character based. I think.. almost everything I do is.
Disclaimer: Boring :X And confusing =D! I have a liking of cloning and the idea of angst and trauma that can go hand in hand with it. Love the imagery. Not like that's conveyed much here. It's long.



This came together through two things:

1) Yeven - a gijinka I made up during my heavy anthropomorphic phase. [I have more, and newer pictures of him =D! They shall be alluded to in another post.]

2) Pokemon the First Movie - I asked myself.. what if MewTwo HAD taken over the world.. and what if, right now.. everyone was actually a clone of an original.

For those who don't know, MewTwo planned to make a superior race by cloning all the original pokemon loyal to him and destroying all of the originals on the planet. Realistically, that would have been quite the massacre.

So I wondered, what if he had succedded? What if.. everyone on the planet right now was a clone of their original self? No one would know. They would think that this was just.. them. They were their original, because there was and has only been one you... right?

And so introduce the President [who has no name.]. It was his ambition to create an enhanced race. Something superior to everyone else, like himself, as he was the first clone of "our" generation.

He created the Blessed. The clones who were enhanced through genetics and animal trait incorporation into the human body. This lead to the First Degenerates. They looked human-based, but their over all physical make-up was different depending on their major animal influence. Visually, you can say they look like Yeven.

Opposing the Blessed were the deformed, the "handicapped", or mutants. The President used the tag line of that these Un-Blessed were tainting the bloodline of their blessed race. But these "mutants" were actually all that was left of the original human race. They usually wear black because they sneak around at night raiding towns and what not inorder to get supplies. The president had created a militia to fight these mutants. Yeven was part of this militia originally.

The President is actually a little.. fucked up in the head. That might be because he isn't actually "him" anymore. The President was the first clone. His ambition to clone the entire human population to make them superior didn't really become the be-all, end-all for him. He decided that he wanted to clone himself as well. A clone of a clone.

The child-like mentality behind this would be that the more of him there was, the better to rule his perfect race. But the first clone of himself.. didn't like the idea that he was a copy. He didn't like that there was someone else there just like them. Except they weren't alike. The second clone took his desire to be One went to an extreme, sabotaging the other clones of the President that were under development [IE. pulled the plug] and then took over the role of the original President himself. He didn't exactly "kill" the original President, but rather that he's kind of preserved at the moment. Least to say, the first president is no longer in control. [I imagine some pretty fucked up scenes where Pres #2 is talking to himself.. but also TO himself as Pres #1]

With the ushering in of the second president, the Second Degenerate production begins to take place. The President calls for peace between the two waring sides, and so the Second Degenerates begin to look more and more like what the original "normal" humans looked like [Although "peace" is called, the seconds president is using this to eliminate the original humans entirely through introducing the Third Degenerates secretly. Get to that in a bit]. An independent company arose at this point, to aid in the production of "normal" looking humans [operated, ironically enough, by the original humans]. This push for unification between the two races pushed the First Degenerates down to the lowest position of society as they were now seen as the "outcasts" or "mutants". This usually meant they were sold on a blackmarket, or used in cage fights against one another for betting and entertainment purposes.

The independent company, however, didn't last long. The president realised that he didn't have as much control as he would like and his goal* was being restricted by the existence of this second company. He used the idea of unification to unite not only the races, but also the companies. And so they merged, and the president had control again. At this stage, experimentation of the Third Degenerates begins.

*I don't actually know what his goal is, at this point [other than eliminating the original humans. Some really weird form of revenge? I think he needs more to him than that]. I'm thinking that this President is actually really mentally.. unstable. If you think about cross-breeding, right, and how it kind of messes up the offspring.. what would happen if you could reproduce with yourself? All physical technicalities aside, that might really lead to some fucked up offspring. I think.. that might be the case with this second President. [When I say president, I think more like the president of a company as opposed to the president of a country. I'm not really sure why.]

The Third Degenerates look like the Second Degenerates. There was no campaign released about the Third Degenerates, unlike the Second Degenerates whose existence was used as a unification between to the two waring races. For the most part, the world doesn't know about the existence of the Third Degenerates.

The difference between the Second Degenerates and the Third Degenerates is that the Second Degenerates were made with the intent of returning the world's [dominant] race to its original state. In other words, trying to repopulate with "normal" humans like the world originally was like. The Third Degenerates were made with the intent of being something like unaware assassins.

The Third Degenerate, although visually similar to the Second Degenerate, take aspects of the First Degenerate into account. To make this short: They have genes that have animalistic capabilities that just aren't reflected in their physical appearence. Instead, something internal is triggered, causing a transformation to a degree, turning them into a more bestial type form that pretty much does nothing but kill.

So it'd be like: "Hey John. Would you deliver this for me to the coffee shop down the street?" John goes.. President does little switchy deally that I haven't really figured out, and John starts slaughtering everyone in the coffee shop, none-the-wiser. But push that more towards militant combat and strategically infiltrating bases. But the people doing the infiltrating may not actually have any idea what they're doing.

Some of the problems with the Third Degenerates as well is that they're unstable themselves [guess they took after their creator..], so sometimes they can transforms and go on killing sprees at random times. Imagine... finding yourself on the subway. You're going home after a long night.. but then something happens.. and you start to black out. Your mind changes into a more primitive state. You sense basic thoughts, needs, desires, lusts. You vaguely remember those animalistic feelings when you come to. If you're lucky.. you'll come to amidst a mass of dead corpses in your subway compartment. If you're unlucky.. you'll have been taken away by something like the CIA and mostly like will never live to feel another peaceful day as your body is forced into its otherstate and studied brutally with no thought that you are, or even were a "person" at one point.

So that's pretty much it. There's the force that goes against the president, of course.. but I figure that'll be more explained through Yeven's journey through this whole arc. Or.. group of 3 arcs, I suppose.

I think the main problem is I don't really know what the President's goal is. That.. would clear up things a bit more.

Addendum: Maybe.. the Second President begins to think, or imagine that the First Degenerates are tainted. Some of them aren't "perfect" [think blonde hair, blue eyes like with hitler.]. Just like our society now, there are people that we feel aren't morally right.. that don't conform to societies views. So perhaps similarly in this case.. the president begins to think that part of the created population doesn't conform to his views.. so he needs to make the Third Degenerates to get rid of them. As well as the original humans.

With any luck.. that made some sense to at least someone out there. I never know if it's just all in my head and only I end up understanding it in the end... *shrugs* Who knows. Look forward to the next exciting installment all about Yeven =D. In the exact same fucked up world XD! But with pictures~!
