Series: Final Fantasy VII
Pairings: Cid & Vincent
Words: 610
Justification: I was on a Cid and Vince kick at the time. I think it was caused by wyna_hiros over on LJ.
Notes: Timeline D=? Errr.. no idea. I have no betas XD! I never will, since this isn't really something I take pride in or wish to share on some widescale X3; I just like to write sometimes..
Cid stepped out of the cockpit, looking over a flapping of red caught his eye.
The silent one of Cloud's group was standing alone, almost as if in quiet contemplation while Cloud was discussing strategies with a patient Red XIII and an overly anxious Barret. Cid strode up to him.
"Ya like the wind, boy?" He puffed on his cigarette, the smoke trail catching quickly on the wind.
The black haired man continued to stare forward, his hair being pulled and caught across his face. One eye glanced towards Highwind momentarily, then flickered back to where it was originally stationed.
"... I am no boy. If anything, I would be your elder." With that he remained silent.
Cid stood frozen for a moment, his lips parted slightly in a stupor.. the wind gently teasing the cigarette butt from his lips.
His muscles tightened as he straighted up with a loud bark, accompanied by a hearty slam on the rogues back. "You're a strange one, kid." Cid turned, grinning to himself and shaking his head. This Cloud.. he sure had some strange companions. A talking Cat.. a stuffed animal.. a man with a gun pasted on to his arm.. And don't get him started on the woman-folk. Why the only normal one seemed to be that Aeris girl, but even then she seemed almost too sweet at times.
Cid walked over to Cloud, and with a knock on the arm, he got his full attention.
"What's up with 'yer boy over there?" He drawled, looking back over his shoulder.
"Who? Vincent?" Cloud looked around the burely man to see Vincent standing alone, facing westward off the airship. "He's.. uh... He's a bit of a loner."
Cid grunted, a puff of smoke escaping through the gaps in his lips. "Same could be said about you."
Cloud shrugged.
"'Least you don't claim to be the oldest thing here, though."
Cloud looked up at Cid with a little more scrutiny than was needed. Or so Cid thought. "He told you how old he was?"
"What? Is it really that hard to guess. Boy's gotta be in his late 20s. I'd say a little older than you, but no where near the years I've conquered." Cid brought his thumb up to his nose, pressing against the side he flicked it.
Leaning against the railing of the ship, Cloud looked out over the horizon. "Vincent... he... He may look young.. but.. "
Cid cocked an eyebrow and rested his hip against the railing, looking down on Clouds hazed eyes. "Yer saying he's dicovered some fountain of youth or 'sumthin'?"
"Far from it. Vincent.. was on the receiving end of a madman. The same madman who turned Sephiroth into what he is now."
Cid stood silent for a moment.
Pulling himself off his elbows, instead resting his hands on the cool railing, Cloud's voice became quiet.. almost sad, "He.. hasn't lived the past 30 years of his life. He doesn't seem to age, or sleep. He's something else now." Turning, he looked up at Cids eyes. His own glowing softly with the touches of mako. "But!" he straightened with a start, startling Cid slightly from the calming depth of cloud's eyes, "His quiet personality seems to be all him. I guess he's got a lot on his mind. He's still human in anycase. Just... not that good at adapting I guess you could say."
Cloud let go of the railing and turned towards the warmer shelter inside the highwind.
Cid looked over to the man once more, his hand pulling the almost spent cigarette butt from his lips. Looking down, he flicked it into the wind. "Che.."

Series: Kingdom Hearts II
Pairings: Roxas and Axel
Words: 886
Justification: Errrmm.. was thinking about doujin possibilities?
Notes: Errr, less story-like, more note-like. Might be a little confusing with the whole, on Roxas, oh back to Sora, oh, another memory of this that and the other thing. I dunno =X
This place... is so familiar... Sora runs through the streets of twilight town, looking up he sees Memory Skyscraper. His eyes focus at the top, above the large dull-green glow of the screens, their faces flickering with slowly moving static.
--
Axel and Roxas are sitting outside on top of a building in TWTNW, possibly eating Sea-Salt ice cream, I dunno. Axel's complainging about the last meeting, gawd how larxene got on his nerves (or someone.. Saix... definetly saix..).
Roxas's eyes look up from the courtyard below the building (where Sora from that first part would have been) and stares out above the city. Eventually... it all turns quiet. The rain seems to drown out Axels ranting and arm gestures, but he knows he's still moving. He looks up to the castle.. it's white, while not as clean or soft as one might think it would stand out to be in this city of darkness.
--
Sora's eye come down into a stern look infront of the castle. He looks up deteremined. Mickey and Co are all behind him.
"Don't worry Riku.. Kairi.. We're coming."
They run forward on the platform towards way to the castle.
--
Kairi?
Roxas feels himself falling. The memory of Roxas falling off of the Twilight Station.. he hears her voice.
"Please! A name!"
"I'm Roxas."
"Okay, Roxas, and the other boy.. can you tell me his name?"
new panel.
"Aww, Kairi. Don't tell me you've forgotten already? Alright, I'll give you a hint. Starts with a "So"."
The memory fades. Replaced by Roxas in a void of nothing.
That's right. Sora. The other half of me.. just like how Kairi is the other half of her..
--
From somewhere behind, we see Axel leaning over Naimne's chair.. whispering in her ear [CoM setting]. Roxas watches as she gets up and run out the door. Axel seems to grin to himself before he notices there's someone behind him. His face lights up when he sees Roxas.
---
Sora looks up, keyblade in hand. "It's Kairi! We have to help her!" Sora begins to run forward, but something nearly hits his foot. He looks up to see Xigbar aiming his guns at him.
"Heh... as if."
---
He was half of Sora.. and she was half of Namine. But what did that make the rest of the organization members?
"Hey. Oi." Roxas seems to be startled out of this train of thought. He looks over, and Axel's giving him a strange look. "You went all quiet on me there."
Roxas looks back down over the city. "Yeah..."
The silence seems to stretch
"We're.... friends, right?"
Roxas turns his head in surprise, but this time it's the red head who's stareing out over the city.
"What kind of dumb question is that."
Axel's face seems to drop. "yeah..." Almost as if it never happened, a big grin comes over his face. "You're right. Who couldn't like a guy like me!" Axel ruffles the hood of Roxas' coat, the water dripping down to the inside of his collar.
Roxas gives him a look "Well, for starters there's Saix... And I don't think Xenmas likes you very much after that last prank you pulled on him.. then there's that time you repleaced [something] with Luxords shaving cream..."
Axel raised his hands in self defense "Woah! Alright, alright.. I get the picture!" he laughs and leans back on his hands, looking up into the raining sky.
Axel looks almost heartbroken as the tears.. no, not tears, the droplets make their way down his face and a make smile dieing on his face. Nobodies don't cry.
Roxas looks up at the sky as the rain continues to pour. It never seemed to end.
--
The sky opens up, and Roxas finds himself at the bottom of the tower, looking up. There's a boy standing on top. Riku. He pulls out the keyblades, and begins to runs up the tower.
"--iku.."
Huh?
"RIKU!"
Roxas finds the towers disappearing, the keyblades, the rain. He's where Sora and Kairi are.. and where someone, who looks like Xenmas, is standing. Sora's grasping his hand, having fallen to his knees. Roxas walks over. What was the boy on? This was nothing like the Riku he'd defeated.
Tears streamed down the other halfs face, "I looked everywhere for you!"
As Roxas looks at the copy of Xenmas, and while the other looks away, at one moment, his eyes turn, and look down at him. The image seems to fade... it was the Riku he'd met that one time....
Wait.. was it really just one? Roxas grabbed his head, shaking it [erm.. insert dark stuf around him]. It felt like, he was forgetting something... He looked up again, and saw Riku, his green eyes staring back at him. Green.. eyes?
Axel smiled at him. A sort of, half broken smile that knew they'd never see each other again.
"Axel, WAIT!" Roxas ran forward, with an outstretched hand, but grabbing nothing but darkness.
Axel... didn't exist anymore.. did he?
Everything seems to come back. Sora on the ground infront of Riku.. kairi holding their hands together.. and for a brief moment he's someone else in those green eyes.
Roxas looks up at the great castle above him, and out over TWTNW...
"Yeah... we're friends."

Series: Kingdom Hearts II
Pairings: Demyx & Sora
Words: 164
Justification: Errr, caused by the crack pairing generator.
Notes: Just the first paragraph thingy, since I don't think anyone wants to read my notes on where this was actually supposed to be going XD;. AU-ish, i guess.. Sora in college? [I've been reading too many KH college fics.]
The brunette hurried along the corridors. It was a saturday, but there was still the odd students around the college.
He always seemed to be busy, he thought, as he jogged quickly, one hand holding on to the strap of his backpack. He glanced down at his watch, and grimaced at the time. His footsteps echoed down the hallway in the quiet afternoon. It wasn't usually like this during the weekdays when the college was full of busy bodies and students talking about their classes.
Sora continued to run, his eyes glancing slightly as he passed through a corridor made of half-windows, a courtyard pretaining to the other side. The doors leading into it were open.. but he only caught the faint sound of music as he rushed by. He thought he saw someone sitting on top of a picnic table to one side of the courtyard with what looked like an intricate blue guitar.
But really, he didn't have time for this anyways.

Series: Kingdom Hearts II
Pairings: Aerith & Sora
Words: 991
Justification: I entered this random KH pairing drawing competition, and whilst talking to Buru, he pretty much set this up over MSN. Needs to be reworked to = more loneliness and more "OMG, will never get home"-age to make it potentially better, but otherwise..
Notes: Uhmm.. it's supposed to be night time in Hollow Bastion D=? Doujin idea to go with the image that could be a poster, or some sort of cover XD. [The picture doesn't exist yet =X]
"Did you know.."
Sora turned back at the voice. Aerith had walked up beside him, and rested her forearms against the cool stone wall he was sitting on. She looked out at what remained of Hollow Bastion. Of it's progress in repair.
".. this place was one called Radiant Garden." Her voice was soft. Almost motherly in its touch, quiet but still there.
"Yeah... I heard from Tron. " He followed her gaze to the old castle. Memories of battles, meeting Beast, fighting Maleficient, finally finding Kairi...
.. becoming a heartless. "It must have been beautiful.." As if he weren't the one talking, but rather listening, he seemed to catch the sadness in his voice, "That is.. I mean. With a name like that, you'd just expect it, right?" He flashed a quick grin towards the older girl.
She was already smiling at him. Sora hadn't realised when her gaze had shifted from the castle to him.. but somehow.. It felt like he hadn't got anything past her. Like she knew things even he wasn't aware of himself.
"You know... I once had a home far from here."
Sora's face faultered in surprise. "But... I thought you, and Leon, and Yuffie.. and all the others. I thought you all lived here together? You'd always lived here."
She smiled shaking her head slighltly, and brought her arms around her in a half-hug. Her gaze went out to the castle ruins again.
"Once... I lived somewhere else. There were a lot of sad and frightened people there. Much like here..."
Sora turned to speak, the question already on his lips
"No, not the heartless." she answered before he could say anything. "It was.. something else."
His mouth closed, and his eyes focused on her features. Her hair catching lightly in the wind. It was true that the heartless entered many a world, and stole the hearts of those who lived there.. but, Sora hadn't thought about what would happen there if he didn't reach them. It just seemed like... he would reach them. All of them. But that couldn't be possible, could it? Surely there were many worlds out there. More than he'd ever be able to reach in his lifetime... Realistically.. there was no way he could reach them all. And even is he did.. would he ever...
His cheeks blushed lightly as he thought of home, of Kairi and Riku. Embarassed by wanting to shrug off an eternal duty just to have the chance to play in the sands with them again.
"You miss it, don't you?"
Sora brought a hand up to his face quickly and rubbed absent-mindly at his cheek. ".. wha--"
"Home."
His hand stopped. The ruins looked cold, and empty. The complete opposite of his home island. "Yeah.. I do." He seemed caught in his own contemplation. "Oh! But you must miss your home too!"
Aerith smiled, and pulled her hands together just under her chin. "There was.. a lot that I loved there. It's where I might Cloud!"
"No way!" His face lit up.
She nodded enthusiastically. "Would you believe that he fell through the roof into my patch of flowers?"
Sora let out a laugh. The thought of Cloud, cool, calm and composed Cloud falling through a roof, and spraweled amongst a patch of daisies just seemed to funny to pass up.
".. how..." he managed to gasp through fits of laughter.
"You know... he never did tell me what happened, or how he got there." Her eyes glazed lightly as she leaned against the cool stone once more. "It was a surprise. I thought my poor flowers would all be crushed! But... it worked out. You know, I hired Cloud as my body guard!" Her eyes looked up to his.
"Hmm.. I don't imagine he'd be a great conversationlist, but I'm sure no one laid a hand on you while you were with him." Sora grinned at her, leaning back a bit, his hands clutching the edge of the wall inbetween his legs to make sure he didn't tumble backwards.
She nodded, pulling a stray piece of hair back behind her ear. "Mmm. He really did protect me. Although, I think part of it was because he felt bad about my flower garden. But once he saw the rest of the flowers I had outside of the sector.. He seemed more than eager to run away from me!" Her voice carried on the breeze as she laughed. "Don't worry."
"Huh?" Sora blinked in confusion.
Her hands cupped a single flower in the baskets lining the stone wall, it's petals shut tight from the cool night air. "You'll make it home. "
Sora looked at her face, hopeing to see the truth in that. Hopeing to see somewhere that she had somehow made it back to her home at one time, and that he'll be able to make it back to his. As he looked, her cheeks began to gain warmth, and the waves in her hair gained a tinge of red amidst brown. He looked down at the flower between her hands as it seemed to slowly began to open to the presence of the rising sun.
"Those flowers... are they...."
She smiled. "The others will be waking up soon. I should prepare some breakfast."
Sora watched as she turned and headed back towards their headquarters. He glanced down at the flowers, it's tips uncurling as the sun caught it's white petals, and turned them a warm pink and yellow. The colours reminded him of home.
" I'm coming. I'll make it there. To take care of you. " He looked at the rising sun, it's brilliance slowly growing in intensity as it rose. Swinging his legs around to the other side of the wall, he jumped on to the stone paved walkway. His back to the sun, he felt the warmth start to press onto his jacket. " Because I promised. "

Series: Kingdom Hearts II
Pairings: Repliku & Riku
Words: 621 (including notes)
Justification: Sha sent me a crack generator message of repliku/riku, nc-17, keyword: flowers.
Notes: the end degenerates into nothing but notes D=. I can not write porn~ Err, actually, there's random notes throughout.
The doors closed behind him, and he glanced back as the last sliver of light was shut out. The room smellt strange, almost conflicting. On one breathe the smell of flowers, sweet and pungent.. but on the other, decay. As if the only thing keeping whatever was in here alive, had died itself, and everything else was quickly following suit.
He walked in, darkness surrounding him, but he was fine with the darkness now. King Mickey, the actual king, had arrived and driven Ansem away.
At least for now, he thought to himself, clutching the card the King had given him.
Looking forward into the darkness, he moved with confidence. The sounds of dry petals being crushed under his feet. Raising a hand, he felt it brace against the smoothened wood of yet another large set of doors, the card still in his hand. Pushing, the light spilled through into the room and Riku stood between two seperate worlds. Looking behind him he saw the room he'd ventured from. Vines were withered along the walls and roof. Thorns stuck out, their vibrant greens having turned to deep purples and blacks. Pink petals lay scattered on the floor, their veins dry and their edges cracking.
Looking forward he found a town bathed in a yellow glow, but it didn't feel warm. It felt cool, as if the days breeze was beginning to be swapped for the cool night air. He stepped onto the woven stone tiles making up the street. A dusky orange spawned the alleys and steps, and seemed to continue on the houses and buildings. This town seemed to want to be continually bathed in the colours of a setting sun.
[blah, skip the part with DiZ]
He looked up at the large gates infront of a paled mansion. The surrounding forest seemed to block the amber colours of the sun, keeping things here darker, and played little on the false warmth the rest of the town seemed to support.
As if acknowledging the cooler tones around him, he felt a pull of darkness in the air around him, and turned quickly to see himself appear.
"So you're the real me, huh?" He looked annoyed. Annoyed like when Riku got mad at Sora for putting seaweed in his hair when they were children, except this seemed more serious. Except this wasn't Riku.
"Who are you?" Riku glared at the other him.
"Who am I? No matter what I do, I can't seem to be anything BUT you. But I'm not you. I'll never be you, because I'm stronger." A grin spread across his face.
Did I look like this to Sora, when Ansem had taken over my body and forced me to fight with him? Riku grimaced, crouching down he summoned Souleater to his hand and beckoned upon the darkness. His clothes changed in a swift movement of black, presenting a mirror image of the copy infront of him.
"Oh! Now isn't this original. YOU'RE copying me for a change!" The replica shouted angrily, the same weapon coming to his hands in a heart-beat, curling the blade of the weapon to his outside and lunging all in one move.
[zomg, fight scene, fuck the what? Also insert the NC-17 rating thingy that's supposed to be in here. I dunno.. maybe Repliku has Riku pinned to the gates at one point, or something or other.]
---- no more of that now. Maybe it ends with Riku note really caring about the Repliku [like he does in CoM], but maybe more he reflects on how Sora might have taken him, and seen him back in Hollowbastion when they fought there. And thus he goes to see Namine. And sora in the Pod.

Series: Kingdom Hearts II
Pairings: Repliku & Zexion
Words: 624
Justification: KH Crack Generator, again. Repliku/Zexion, NC-17, and keyword: Clean, was what I was given. Funnily enough, this could fit into the CoM timeline =D! Or maybe even have it written from Axel's POV. Err.. meant as a doujin story thingy.
Notes: Err.. meant as a doujin story thingy. I attack my own writing throughout this thing XD; If Zexion were a Pokemon Trainer, he'd totally have an Oddish as his main monster. Aaaa-!, and Axel a Charmeleon. Oh gawd, must resist the temptation of a crossover. .. so.. tempting. Axel with a dragon.. hmm.. should finish drawing that..
Axel turned with a sense of disinterest on his face, a portal opening infront of him as he began to fade into the darkness leaving the replica alone with an overly concerned Number V. He'd never liked Zexion very much anyways. So quiet, he never did anything entertaining; he never made a stand.
He stepped through, and the darkness encased around him, then dissolved into nothing.
"W-- wait! Axel--....." his voice cut off on a desperate note. Zexions eyes quickly refocused from the disolving darkness to the boy infront of him in shrewd awareness of his situation.
The replica stared forward, eye cold and disillusioned.
".. I.. I can help you. I can give you [a fabulous 5 course dinner =D] what you want. Make you stronger! Stronger ... for.. for Namine!" Zexions gloved hand brushed against the solid oak of the bookcaseing behind him, the books of varying sizes beginning to make themselves known against his back.
The replica moved forward, his steps firm, yet soft on the ground as he seemed to tower over Zexions shrinking form. The books were digging into his spin now, their bodies were so close [Okay, they really aren't. This NC-17 thing just isn't happening. When have I ever done anything that's actual porn D=?]. A large volume began to dig into the underside of his scapula.
Eyes darting, the Organization member tried to lean to the side, hopeing to side step away. A large fist slammed against the bookshelf with unrestrained force, nearly hitting him in the head, and causing various book to tumble from the high shelves.
Zexion pulled his arms up defensively around his head, trying to protect himself from the falling debris [BOOKS FOOL. THERE IS NO REAL DEBRIS.].
A voice filled with hatred only a real memory of betrayal could make filled his ear as the warm, jagged breathe fell along his neck making him shiver "There is nothing you can give me." [Something better, like "zOMG you can give me your life to make me stronger, or OMG GIVE ME YOUR STRENGTH even though you're Zexion, and probably not all that strong... maybe you had a butcher knife as a weapon, or a RADISH! A little garden shovel =D?]. The breath cooled away as the body moved away from him [Zexion I mean D=] and the shadow overcasting his face lifted. Hands still huddled over his head, he slowly lifted his eyes to look at the retreating figure of Vexen's clone.
The arc of a wing, and push of force from a blade are all that catch his eyes as they widen and stare.
The crouched form of the replica twists the handle [handle? ftw.. there's a word for this. Uhhmm... frig.] of the copied Souleater as Zexions hands slowly drop to his sides. His body begins to slump, but the blade lodged in his stomach refuses to let him fall any further.
Eyes attempt to focus on the clone as his vision begins to fade. Zexions body seems to drift in pieces as if caught on a hidden wind. [Repliku shot = all hard and grrrr like]. When nothing remains does the body finally relax. The muscles became less taught and he moves back to his full height. Pulling the sword free from the shelf, he swipes it downwards, the book spine he'd skewered, being whipped downwards on to the floor. [Like a pretty shot with pages flying and what not. Maybe.. Zexion drops a book at the beginning, or establish something like he likes to read so that it kind of ties in a bit better...]
Souleater disappears from his hand, and he looks down, clenching his fist. He'd become stronger. Strong enough to be anyone he wanted.
------
Ahahahah, that's it. XD;
