Is it strange to have such a strong motivation inside of you?

Maybe.. motivation isn't the right word. Like.. a tugging, an awe, just that feeling of astonishment and wanting to compare yourself to that level, achieve it, and beat it.

I don't really know what other people's [mm.. how to put it] love is. Mine, to be simplistic, is animation. I think I'm a little strange about that.. but.. When I watch something, and you just feel utterly stunned and in awe of someone's hard effort and work.. such that it's so impressive you're left staring... you can't help but want to better yourself, and over come them.

I don't think other people do that as much as I do;, especially when it's over something little that most people wouldn't notice... Like " Fuuuaaa O_O. The secondary motion on Rock Lee's hair... ::stares::" or "Wow.. the weight and muscletary motion on that monster was amazing..." and so forth.

I wanna see someone elses passion... whether it be writing, or cosplay, or.. whatever.. Kind of wish people would show their passion more, but.. our society seems a little apathetic these days.

Gawd, I'm -so- glad Japan's so devoted to classical 2D animation. That country's produced so many works that have just left me staring. It's heartening.. especially since 2D's death in North America is pretty much buried and forgotten now adays.

I wanna animate now. Fua... too much work to do first though... -_-...

With the ending of september comes Japan's new fall line-up for anime on the terebi. Other than the awaited ones with much flash and knowledge [Bleach, Yakitate etc etc..] a few others are springing up that have the potential to be promising [although my movie player not liking most of the CMs refuses to play them with sound].
In no particular order:
Mind Game - The style on this just looks.. insane. I recall one anime before like this, but it was too incoherent and bizarre for my tastes. Like the title suggests the images are incredibly different from main stream anime, varying almost successivly from realistic to simplistic to warped perspective to 3D to cut-out animation. Looks worth checking out.
Gankutsuoh - This looks interesting. The designs and animation seem fluid, the characters seem appealing and intrigueing.. but in those elements also hold different ones. The colouring is bright and clashy, the characters move while the patterns on their clothes remain stationary [and -everyone- is wearing a pattern. No flat colours on clothes here~], but the backgrounds and props and landscapes are all very impressive. A strange combination of what looks like opera, elves, sword and.. robots?

Those are the main one's that seems appealing, actually. Then there's Kannduki, Gunbuster 2, Beet the Vandel Buster, Sunabouzu, Rozen Maiden and no doubt a few more I'm not aware of.

In none-anime I've been exposed to many a non-steam animated featuer films. Nocturna being the one I'm looking forward to the most. If the story progresses in a pleasing way, I think they'll be able to have a real hit with this animation. I strongly recommend viewing the trailer.
Others on the FilmAXhttp://www.filmaxanimation.com/ website are intrigueing, although I don't think they'll rise to any great height as they are now. In example, Donkey Xote... I could describe, but I'd rather just say that viewing the trailer you can feel the missing elements and lack of professionalism and revision in their composition, storyboarding and character developement. Gisaku has my intrigue, although the character sketches seem flat, the actual animation sketches feel very full of life. I'm hoping it'll pull through~

That's about it. I was thinking of subscribing to the Animation magazine because it's just chock-full of animation news and information that it'd be well worth it. I'll update if I hear anymore on the above titles or anything else in the animation fandom.

Do rants about animation count as fandom related? Surely there are those that are fans of animation, in a non-specific way rather than singleing out one specific group or company.

In that light, Polygon Pictures. One of THE oldest CG Animation companies, not only in Japan, but world wide as well. They have some really impressive stuff.
I was given the chance to watch an episode of Polygon Family, and I'd have to say that if you're ever given the same oppurtunity, not to pass it up. It was rather amusing and interestingly done while not weighing down the viewer with excessive visual detail and complexity.
On the opposite front, Crocotires looks rather visually stimulating.
If anyone happens to know where I can obtain a DVD of their work, I'd appreciate it. Preferably with an english interface.

7:45 pm - Samurai 7
Pairings I'm seeing in Samurai 7 X3;

Favorite:
KyuzoxKatsushiro
Other:
GorobeixRikichi [come on, it's obvious >D]
KatsushiroxKirara [although he'll get rejected in the end, and nothin'll end up happening]
KiraraxKyuzo [although she'll get rejected in the end >D;]
KambeixGorobei [or vice versa.. mainly just flings..]
KambeixShichiroji [Come on.. they're "married" o_o..]
HeihachixAnyone Really o_O [I figured it'd be a mutual thing.. He doesn't seem the type of push too much..]
Kikuchiyo would be a bystander ::pats:: I'm not inventive enough for robot relations.. Plus his main relationship is with that little kid than with any of the other samurai o_o

Broom head <3! This is so gonna cause doujin pages to pop up randomly in the sketchbook >D

1:19 pm - Kubo's style has been massacred =_=
Out of all the things I thought they'd screw up on, THIS wasn't one of them.

If someone finds kurosaki's missing jawbone, please inform the animators immediately.
