House Pandas are a common infestation in Canada
Gosh!

So I was doing some tidying around in my living area (a TON of stuff going off to garage sales and donations, etc. When packrats finally give up on their stuff it's a truly horrific sight) and well.

I saw something interesting and just had to grab my camera.



Did you see it?





Isn't he cute? He scurried off when I tried to get a closer look. I left out one of my bamboo plants and a bonsai in the hopes of luring him out again. I keep hearing little 'bweep' noises every few minutes.

that grows 'em big in my hood.
It's funny you should post this because I have been puzzling over a panda sighting since last Friday.
Walking home from the Afghan kebab place last Friday night the s.o. and I saw a giant panda lying on its side in the middle of the road. We know it wasn't a hallucination because a colleague who lives down the street saw it too. Obviously an escapee from some house too close to the nuke plant. Our other explanation was that it might have been the panda that Jin bought and someone drove off with on LOST.
