I took pictures at the zoo. Come one, come all.

Gophers on a coffee break.

The miniature horse demanded food I did not have. I felt only shame.

The goat also demanded food, but goat eyes are terrifying so I felt less bad.

These little chaps are meercats. They did the exact same thing over and over. OCD or boredom?

Unknown bird looked this way, then he looked that way, then he vanished like a ninja while I was waiting for the screen to come up for another picture. He will forever by a mystery in my heart.

Brb, screaming forever.

Speaking of things distressing:

A lot of things were greeted by my mother with: "...is it stuffed?"

Come with me on this visual odyssey.

Things like these possums.

This tanuki.

These Lovecraftian frogs

And these wolves.

Cute wolf thing:

Oh, the exhibit is escaping.

Going...

Going...

Gone!

It should be noted that North Dakota was about 65% duck. Here are some zoo ducks:

Let's end this on triple duckbutt.

It's a peahen - a female peacock. They don't usually display but they have the same build... and are much plainer than their male counterparts.

If I can think of a non-embarrassing explanation why I didn't know this, you will be the first to know.
