oh good god! So I'm reading
this thread on my phone during a car ride (me and my mom were running for the last bits of toiletries everyone needed for the trip). And my mom was like 'What's so interesting on there?'
And I say: 'Euphemisms for vaginas. I like ladygarden'
So she hit me.
We ride on in silence for a bit, until I come across the reply to
this comment and as that sort of thing is relevant to her interests (especially since she'll be in that area next year, I think) I said 'oh hay, Hawaiian influenced Mexican food.'
So she hit me again.
'HEY' I said.
Her: 'I think that whole thing is totally rude!'
Me: 'I WAS TALKING ABOUT AN ACTUAL RESTAURANT'
Her: 'Oh. Well. Where's the restaurant?'
And so I told her about it. Somehow, without me ever bringing it up, she starts asking if they might have fish tacos and how much she loves fish tacos. Apparently she loves them 'real bad'.
Yeah, that was my conversation with my mom. I managed not to get hit again though.
