Are posts on unpleasant things verboten on random_lounge? I mean, I remember the kittenmommy fiasco on fandom_lounge, but I thought that was mainly because killing puppies is not a fandom.

Not that I have a burning desire to see rage-inducing posts there, but just out of curiosity.

I don't think so, no. I don't remember that being a rule, anyway. People might react badly in the comments, but there's no rule against it.

That last post confused me, not least because it kind of is fandom, isn't it? Seemed like it would fit right in at fandom_lounge, and there's no reason to strike it if you're putting it in unfunnybusiness, as well. There's room for everyone!

Also, I hate it when people strike entire posts, it annoys me. >:(

Gah, striking whole posts irritates me too.

And yeah, that's what I thought too. I can kind of see it in random_lounge as well, since it's more about general internets than fandom in particular, but that's kind of splitting hairs. And I didn't see the point of moving it at all.

See, I've never understood how come we can't, you know, just ask the mods. Is the theory that if I don't post it up RIGHT THIS SECOND, it will get stale and old?
