Summary: Stranz thought he put an end to his competition.
That was the end of that. He hadn't even needed to kill Chazz. There would be witnesses to the chase, but Chazz's death would be ruled accidental. Drowning. He couldn't be blamed.
He was feeling smug as Jimmy skated to center ice alone. Fairchild had failed and he had succeeded for once!
But suddenly Chazz burst through the door of the arena, making it to the ice with seconds to spare.
It was then Stranz knew this wasn't the end of anything, but the beginning of a new stage in their skating career... and it wasn't going to be pretty.
