It's a mediocre novel tie-in, Supernatural fandom, not a baby rapist, I really don't think you need to write to the publisher about it.

Maybe it'd be more effective if they wrote in as Sam and Dean, pleading for this awful garbage to be revised into something that more tenderly expresses their pure love. :(

Yeah, I'm just...tie-in novels in general do suck, but they serve a purpose in that they expose a lot of people to the show who otherwise wouldn't have ever /heard/ about it. And they, most likely, won't realize how much the novel sucks.

Seems like that'd actually be a good thing. Meanwhile, I'll be reading good fanfic...

A friend of mine was actually up for that gig. I'm kind of relieved she didn't get it -- she would've done well, but it wouldn't have mattered in the slightest to SN fandom. Unfortunately, there's no sane way to tell someone NO YOU DO NOT WANT THIS PAYING PROFESSIONAL JOB.
