| Sigourney and Madonna explore a few things |

[backdated to almost a year ago (eep!) after this bar chat where Madonna and Sigourney slip out to have a drink and some chat. And more. ]
The car ride to the coffee shop - a little hole in the wall place that sees enough celebrities that the baristas have long ago ceased to blink even for Madonna coming in - is short and though the conversation continues, it stays on lighter subjects. Madonna opens the door for Sigourney and waits to close it until they're both out, telling her driver to come back in a couple of hours - and oddly, that doesn't seem at all too long. "I only said that," she confides to Sigourney as they start walking into the store, "because we will have to sleep at some point and it will be late enough." She slides into her favourite booth and waits for Sigourney to choose where she will sit. "Coffee or tea?" she asks. "Both are, I have to say, equally good. The herbal tea is out of this world - you almost forget there isn't caffeine in it, but it doesn't have the effects caffeine does."

It's a lazy evening at the bar. Things are quiet today after the post-Oscars parties and all the hoopla. For Sigourney's side, she just wants to have a drink and relax away from the eyes of the press. Dressed somewhat casually (for her) in jeans and a low cut sweater, she sits at the bar with martini in hand, sipping idly and watching two men make out in the back corner. There have been a slow stream of them today, celebrities coming off their bearded dates and scrambling to get what they really want. It's amusing to watch.

The desk clerks know Sigourney well, and when she strides up with Robert in tow and tells them to book her a room, they immediately hand her the keys to her favorite room. She hands them the key back, however. "Something more . . . subdued," she tells them. Yes, she often likes the dungeon theme. But not tonight. Tonight she only wants a soft bed, and a large bath. Tonight is purely about sex and indulgence.
Subdued. Robert grins at the word choice. He also takes the moment to admire Sigourney's backside and the legs that seem to go on and on forever. When she gets the key and turns, he nudges his glasses up his nose and smiles, offering his elbow again. ( Shall we? )

Jon's taken to coming to the bar more and more often now. It's not about the half-familiar atmosphere of a bar, because his old haunts were far from this. It's not even really the scenery, so much, though that's a damned good incentive. There's just something relaxing about being in a place where nothing seems to be expected of him except what he's willing and more than happy to give up.
Though tonight, the scenery really is a good incentive... Jon's been trying to be discreet about watching, it's rude to stare, but. Well. And that's as far as his mind will let him go as he keeps glancing to Sigourney. It's not that the sight of her here is so unexpected, given how many other people he's seen here, but...
Finally he finishes his drink and decides standing there is going to do nothing but talk him in circles, and moves closer with a smile.
( Pardon me for saying it, but I hate seeing a beautiful woman all on her own. Could I buy you a drink? )

Coming here today to learn his lines obviously was a bad idea, Oded thinks when he looks around the Est bar. He tried to work at home but Zane was home as well - which meant they'd spent most of the morning in bed. Not that he didn't like it but it didn't really help in getting anything done. But the way it looks, he won't get anything done here either. Usually the bar is pretty quiet in the afternoons - except for today. Right now, there are two scenes going on and the boys involved are very vocal, making it impossible to concentrate on his text. With a sigh, Oded turns to the barkeeper and orders another coffee.

| Sigourney and Scott: a little punishment |

[Takes place Oct 25, 2006, just before Scott leaves to the mountains then South Carolina.]
Scott is out of sort and out of time. There doesn't seem to be a way to fix what he's done. He hasn't been able to come up with a way to keep both Miranda and Eric. Now he's faced with the nearly impossible task of choosing between them. He's not sure he'll be able to choose. He's driving out Saturday to a cabin he's rented for a couple of weeks. He had originally wanted to go back to the Est island, having Miranda and Eric join him for a week each. But now the last thing he needs is to be surrounded by a bunch naked or practically naked people.
Before he goes though, Scott needs some help clearing his mind so he can think. So he's making his way into the Est. to have one of the staff Doms beat the crap out of him. He smiles at the clerk behind the front desk as he walks up. "Hi. I need to reserve some time with a Dom for pain... no sex." Sarah, the front desk clerk, smiles back. ( Of course, Mr. Speedman. Let me see who is available right now. )

Maggie is sitting at the bar, sunk in misery. She's been there a while, slowly drinking herself into a state where she hopes she can forget the mess she's found herself in. She doesn't understand how they managed to get to this place, a place where she finds she almost hates Jake and Peter. Should she move out of the apartment? Should she officially end it with Peter? Peter, the man she loves more than any other person in the world. Shit, now she's crying, not crying but the tears will trickle down her face however much she dashes them away.
Sigourney's coming in to relax after a hard day of filming. She stops up short when she spots pretty little Maggie, looking not at all like herself. Crying? It's uncertain whether she would be welcome or not, but she's brave enough to try at any rate. She sits down next to Maggie. ( Poor dear--want to talk about it? )

After careful consideration, Sigourney's decided on lunch at the club so that she and Natalie can discuss whatever they like without some snooping reporter wondering what the two of them are doing together (and speculating about possible movies together.) She does so hate the fuss of publicity. So after ironing out the date they can both make it, Sigourney chooses her outfit carefully. A soft red suede skirt, and a peach and coppery-colored silk blouse to match, with her hair down in soft curls around her face.
( She arrives precisely on time as always, watching for Natalie's smaller frame and dark hair. )

Darling, I'm so sorry--I meant to call you, goodness, two weeks ago? And then suddenly they needed me for some scenes they were shooting for my latest film, "Vantage Point." You know how that goes. So I had to fly down to Mexico, but I'm back now, and I would love to have lunch with you, and continue that little discussion we began in your journal.

Sigourney leads Sam over to the registration counter, looking through the rooms, choosing one of her usuals--with a wide variety of restraints and toys for her to choose from. Not her own private place of course, but then her own place doesn't come with a morning massage, either.
She glances sidelong at Sam. ( So are you going to behave for me? Or am I going to have to resort to drastic measure to subdue you? )

It'll hold. Ignore those creaking sounds, the branch will hold, the branch is solid. Ralph creeps a few inches closer to the window, ignores the creaking sounds. His new telescope was wonderful, for scoping out the lovely lesbians, but unsatisfying in the extreme for the finer points. Need to get closer, just a little closer...ignore that splintering sound, the branch is solid. The lanky dark-haired dominatrix being eaten out by the emaciated blonde looks very familiar but Ralph can't put a name to the face until their eyes meet through the windowpane...

Yes, been hibernating again, as I sometimes do. There was some post-production work required on The Village, but now that's done, and it's back to relaxing in this little place just outside of London. Lovely gardens, and the weather's been cooperating lately. It's quiet here.
Frightfully boring.
Next week I'll be headed back to Los Angeles (with a little stayover in New York to say hello to my dear friend Baz and his boy Craig), but in the meantime, I wonder is there any fun to be had here in the U.K.?
Just putting out my little feelers here.

Well, I've done it. Booked a flight for London, and I'm getting packed and ready to leave. I do hope to relax and enjoy the Club amenities there, and meet some of your lovely faces that I've talked to on the journals.
Rick and George, I'll be back in two weeks, to discuss George's training. Well of course we can discuss before then, but I'll be back in two weeks to start it.
As for the lovelies over in London, I do hope you'll be around, let me see, I've talked to Aiden, Natalie . .. anyone else? I'm old; my memory is failing me, ha.
My flight leaves on Thursday. See everyone later!
