    This is Writer Beware's list of the 20 worst most fraudulent scam literary agencies. Any writer unfortunate enough to be 'represented' by any of them will gain nothing and only lose time and money.

    One of them, Barbara Bauer, called the webhost of Absolute Write, one of the best writer's resources on the net, and slung a number of ridiculous claims at them. The host pulled the site in a panic, and AW is currently seeking a new webhost. Since the complaints were obviously intended to stifle criticism of her criminal business practices, many people are out there making sure that even *more* people hear her name. Count me as one little person out spreading the word.
