| Thank you and goodnight.... |
[14 Sep 2009|02:37pm] |
All good things must come to an end and now it’s time to finish Rupert Everett and Simon Le Bon in their current incarnations.
Both pups will remain in game with new personas and new journals. We’ve loved traveling the road with them but we feel they’ve reached their destination, we’re closing the door on our way out…
Simon's new journal will be simply_simon and Rupert's will be rupert_refined (both still in the process of being set up)
We're keeping their old journals up for posterity! If anyone has any backstory with either or both, just shoot us an email and we can discuss!

| Rupert Everett/Simon Le Bon - High Jinks on the High Seas (part 1 - backdated to earler in the year) |
[11 Apr 2009|09:57am] |
It's been a week and the world seems more than alright. The sky and sea are stunningly blue, the air warm and sweet and his whole body aching from their constant sex this week.
( We could test the theory )

| Simon and Rupert: Of Sweaters and Salt Ai |
[14 Nov 2008|10:15pm] |
[current]
Rupert looks around, dumping his bag on the floor of the cabin and breathing a deep sigh of relief.
"Do you remember the first time we went out on your boat, the other boat?" he turns to Simon, grinning.
( a little lower and I'll knit you one myself.. )

[28 Jan 2008|03:28pm] |

( If I wear my leathers he'll be impressed! )

| Simon Le Bon/Rupert Everett - Prepping for the tour |
[07 Jan 2008|11:44am] |
They've officially been back together for about a week. A week spent laying over one or the other's couch, crouched over the coffee table eating a carry out meal or sprawled exhausted and satiated on the bed. But they haven't been out much. Somehow it feels invasive to take this fragile new start out into the bright light of the real world. That would happen soon enough when they leave for Australia and Simon's tour.
( They've spent an inordinate amount of time in bed the past week )

Simon sighs, rubbing a towel over his wet head. There's a sheaf of invitations spread out on his kitchen counter. All inviting him to this bash or that party. It's been years since he really enjoyed New Years Eve. And all the invites don't really make him much more appreciative. Invites he isn't in a position to ignore. With his first solo album...ever...just having hit the shelves, and doing well, he needs to keep up the momentum and he knows it.
With an audible sigh, he turns for the bedroom to finish dressing. Yeah.

| Simon and Rupert: Invitation to "A What" |
[28 Dec 2007|07:19pm] |
Current
Simon unloads the notebooks from his new back pack and smiles. "I owe him one," he tells himself, picking up the phone. Way to justify it, Le Bon
Rupert is in the gym; he is on the running machine when his phone chirrups at him. Ignoring the dirty looks he is garnering, he sees the name and answers rather breathlessly.
( I should be feeling guilty right now )

| Simon and Rupet: On the other end of the line |
[26 Dec 2007|06:56pm] |
He sees the box sitting against the door as he digs out his keys. Cocking his head he stares at it for a minute before gathering it up and letting himself inside. "What the hell?" he wonders, setting it down and ripping the tape off the top. Inside is a remarkably nice black leather backpack. "Rue," he smiles, turning the bag over as he digs out his cell phone.
"Hey baby," Rupert answers the phone sounding cheery. He himself left the package outside Simon's place and he's had the phone ready to answer ever since. "You like?"
"You really didn't have to do that," he protests, kicking the box into a corner for later disposal. "I see you took the tags off too," he chastises. "How much do I owe..." baby? "...you?"
"Dunno, I did quite a lot of shopping at the same time," Rupert smiles to himself, he knew Simon would bring the subject of cost up. "I am sure I can think of a way of you paying me back," he chuckles. "I gotta go, there's someone at the door, speak soon," and he hangs up before Simon can respond.

| Simon calls Rupert (current) |
[26 Dec 2007|02:35pm] |
Simon hesitates then picks up the phone, dialing Rupert's number from speed dial where it's resided for the past year.
Sprawled on the couch, Rupert is watching an old black and white movie and thoroughly enjoying wallowing in it. The remains of a bottle of wine and a microwaved meal are by his side, he doesn't look at the phone, just answers it.
"'Lo?"
"Hey, Rupert....you remember that place we stayed in Italy? The one where the beds were too small?"
Carrisimo?. "Course I do, the one with the balcony?"
"Yeah," Simon grins, eyes on the TV. "Do you remember what it was called? I think it's being spotlighted on the travel channel."
"What?" Rupert rolls off the couch and grabs the remote, pressing buttons randomly. "Oh my god, it IS, look at the ornate railings, remember they made marks on your thighs?"
Simon blushes, shutting his eyes at the very very clear memory.

| Simon and Rupert: Coffee |
[14 Dec 2007|06:39pm] |
Current
Simon balances his coffee on his book, grabbing a stack of napkins as he makes his way back out to the sit in the weak fall sunshine. London's chilly, but not yet cold and he's enjoying a rare day off at home. Even if home is a rental at the rear of a friend's house. He hasn't had time with the tour and everything to secure a true home yet. Besides, he's not really sure where he wants that to be, though London is looking more and more like home again.
( You can take the London place... )

| Simon and Rupert: Fancy Meeting You Here |
[02 Dec 2007|06:11am] |
Rupert has just enough time to pop into Waterstones to something to read. He gets out of a cab, leaving the meter running - well it's on the film company and he's running into the store, long legs eating up the distance. When he sees Simon he almost laughs out loud for there is his former lover browsing through the very book Rupert has come to buy.
"Fancy meeting you here," he sidles up and nudges Simon.
( why not grab this one too, )
