| So, a reliable witness tells me that he saw a handsome young Latino man riding a pink little girl's bike down the street the other day. I'm issuing an open challenge to said gentleman to meet me on the field of combat...or at least on the sidewalk. We race for honor, for glory, and for the pride of being the fastest grown man on a little girl's bike. If anyone spots this man on the streets of LA, let him know I await his answer. | ||||

| players not pups After a lovely romantic birthday/Valentine's day dinner, Jon and Thandie both managed to excuse themselves--Thandie with the excuse of needing the loo, Jon saying he wanted to go make sure Puck wasn't stuck somewhere again. Peeking into the kitchen, Jon couldn't have planned it better himself. Careful to step quietly towards the sink where Simon's washing dishes, back to him, Jon wraps his arms around his Sir's waist from behind and gently kisses his neck. [players not pups, takes place October 25, Tim Roth is an NPC played by![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} padawanhilary]Tim sits back as the beginning of the video capture comes to an end, hands folded sedately in front of him. They're all three--Simon, Jon and himself--sitting around a small computer screen, taking in the interview between him and Jason. Jason's first reactions are coming up now, and Tim watches Jon closely, though he's got an eye on Simon, too. Simon's got his arm around Jon, alert to the tiniest hint of stress. Jason appears angry and defensive, and as Simon watches, it becomes clear that he has no clue that he did anything wrong. How do you reach someone like that? Jon's grateful for the arm, and he tucks into Simon a little, seeing how angry Jason looks at moments and feeling little creeping fingers of "what did I do wrong?" slither up his spine as he watches. He breathes deeply, though, reminding himself that they're here because he wants to be, and that he's safe and he's ( getting past this part of his life. ) | ||||||

| Players, not pups, current, warning for WS Since the confrontation with Jason, things have started to coalesce and settle a little more for Jon. He’s started going to see Dr. Gillespie alone on Fridays, though Simon still meets him for their lunch routine in one of the Establishment restaurants, always comfort food and handfeeding and sometimes sex to go with it. He’s reported the abuse to the Establishment, and been assured that they’re following up on it. Though he knows how helpless Simon felt, not being able to confront Jason directly, he is starting to feel that he’s genuinely doing a good job for Simon, that he’s what Simon needs. One of these days he’s definitely going to implement his and Jesse’s plan for “something special,” but for now, it’s nice to just relax and be whatever his Sir needs at the moment. Tonight they’re alone in the house with the pets, Thandie having plans for the evening, and ( Jon’s curled up on a cushion at Simon’s feet, practically purring as Simon strokes his hair. ) Comments screened and loved | ||||||

| Takes place in early March, a couple of weeks after Jon and Thandie meet. Comments screened and loved. Dinner at Thandie's house, much to Jon's relief, is as natural and easy as his first meal with her had been. It's obvious that she and Simon adore each other, and despite that they're incorporating him seamlessly into the conversation, not allowing him to feel at all like a third wheel. He's also a bit more relaxed than he had been on her doorstep, thanks to excellent food and a glass of wine, and as their plates move towards empty he reclines a bit in his seat, feeling at ease with himself and the surroundings. Simon's thrilled to see Jon and Thandie getting along so well, even though he'd expected that they would. There's dessert waiting, a lovely chocolate torte that he and Jon brought, ( but right now he's too full to even think of more food. ) | ||||||

| players not pups It's late morning, and Jon's downstairs futzing in his Jon Room, as he's taken to calling it, while Simon showers upstairs. They have plans to go to the shelter and look for a pet, but in the meantime Jon's working on hanging up some photographs he's taken, on the wall above his drafting table. It's not a huge room, but it's big enough for a table and stool where he can work on art projects, a big art cart, and a few shelves with books and sentimental objects. The piece de resistance is on the other wall, a huge piece of thin gauzy fabric in orange and pink hues that he's hung like a canopy in the corner, the floor underneath it all scattered with pillows around a giant overstuffed bean bag. The fabric's transparent enough that he can read under his canopy when the regular overhead light is on, but he also has a floor lamp fitted with a pink bulb, which makes his corner look safe and rosy. He smiles when he hears Simon knocking on the open door, finishing hanging his picture and turning around. "All clean?" he asks, grinning and holding his arms open. ( "As clean as I ever get. | (players not pups, current) After his meeting with Paget, and a little talk with Simon, Jon had to admit that at least some sessions with a general counselor, one of the ones doing in-house services at the Establishment, might not be a bad idea. A last-minute cancellation has them tucked into the schedule much more quickly than Jon had expected, and now they're walking behind a boy from the staff, down a hallway Jon's never seen before. It's back where he assumes the LA Establishment offices are, the floor lined with a soothing green carpeting, lighting unobtrusive. The boy knocks lightly on a door and pushes it open when a voice calls "come in." Jon gives Simon a slightly nervous smile before stepping inside, holding on tightly to Simon's hand. Takes place after a Simon/Thandie/Jon threeway which has yet to be posted Thandie struggles with the phone call, hesitating and backing out several times before she gets the whole number dialed. Finally, she makes herself complete the numbers and hold the phone, her other hand clamped to her knee. She needs to do this. For God's sake, she's losing sleep over it. She has to know how this works, how he does things with Jon, and right now, she has no point of reference outside their relationship. Oh, sure, she could read books--that's never been an issue--but this, she figures, is something for which an academic understanding isn't going to work. | Players not pups, takes place 4/29, warning for watersports discussion Simon sprawls next to Jon on the sofa. "What're you watching?" he asks, gesturing at the TV. "Oh, just silly stuff," Jon admits with a smile. "Naked slaveboys on prime time television, the world is a beautiful place," he jokes, putting the mute on Spartacus and reaching to stroke Simon's hair. Simon laughs and lies down with his head in Jon's lap, hoping for more petting. "It is a wonderful show, isn't it?" "For prurient value, certainly," Jon agrees, smiling and getting down to the hair-stroking more seriously, his other hand idly petting Simon's chest. "Need me for anything, Sir? Without disclosing too much, hopefully, let me say that one of my boy's past Doms is...well, he's so perfectly the stereotype of the Evil Ex-Dom, they might have based it on him. And before anyone asks, I know that what I've been told is completely true. That said, what do I do? I'm trying - it's been a struggle just to convince my sweet boy that he was abused - but I'm afraid of doing or saying the wrong thing and making it worse. I love my boy more than anything, and I want to help him. But I'm not sure how. Help? | ||||||
