| All right, you two. Every time you get together, any attempt at getting to know each other gets derailed by sex. I'm not complaining, of course, especially when I get to watch; however, I think you need to just talk to each other for a bit. Thus, I want you to do so in the comments to this entry. And no cybersex. I'm serious about that.
Love, Simon | comments: Leave a comment |
| No cybersex? But Sir, what am I going to say? *giggles*
Okay, fine, Thandie, what's your favorite food? | | (Reply to this) (Thread) |
| Tom yum goong. Have you had it? It's a lovely spicy Thai soup with shrimp and baby limes. Sometimes I put enoki mushrooms in mine, and sometimes I really cheat and add noodles.
You? | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| I haven't had that one--was that the soup you got the first time we met? It looked good!
Mine is... *thinks*... chicken pot pie. Mom's recipe, she used to make it the very best. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| Yes! It was. I had actually forgotten about that.
Chicken pot pie. I guess I've never had one that's terrible, but never one that's spectacular, either. Like pumpkin pie. It's always nice, but it's never oh my God, I can't live without that. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| You forgot about our first date? *big fat elephant tears* Oh Thandie, I'm so hurt!
*grins*
Oh it's so good! I wish I could make mom's recipe for you but it never quite turns out the same without her. *shrugs* | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| I didn't forget about our first date! I forgot what I ate for lunch. I was a little distracted. Don't make me pinch you next time I see you.
Um. How about music? What's your favorite kind? I like all different things, especially stuff I can dance to. My current guilty pleasure is this new ultra-techno rave stuff. It's very...very bloody techno ;) | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| Your fatal assumption here is that I don't like pinches.
I looove dance music! I like Britney and Gaga and Adam Lambert but I also like techno if it's good and I like stuff with strings, like have you heard the Streets? They're really cool. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| I can make you not like my pinches.
I haven't heard the Streets. What kind of music is that?
| | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| White guys rapping. It's better than it sounds. *laughs* They're british, actually. Here, homework:

That's a live version of my favorite song.
I can make you not like my pinches.
Should we test this theory?
(Sir's at a meeting with his agent, we could totally get away with being dirty and he won't see this thread till later. *giggles*) | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| Sigh. You're right. I'm a good boy.
So... uh... platonic questions....
I don't know. Tell me about your family? | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | My dad's name is Nick. He used to work in a lab when I was small, and he gave that up to get into art. Labwork was too constraining for him, and when I saw what he could do--which was anything--I wanted to be artistic, too. My mother, Nyasha...most people don't believe this. She's a princess of Rhodesia. Don't ever mention that to her unless she brings it up first (and don't EVER call it Zimbabwe). It still terrifies her that she and my father were living there, could have become refugees when the wars broke out. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | Oh, wow. Does that make you a princess, too? (Well I already knew you were, just not officially *g*) Does your mom like England, or does she miss home? | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | Hmm. Well now that I have my Magical Pink Relaxation Tent, I like to go down there and curl up with a book or just with a me and take a nap. Or sometimes I work on an art project. You? | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| *giggles*
You're gorgeous. I just thought you should know.
Um, let's see... questions. Do you believe in love at first sight? | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| Ooh, that's a good one.
I believe in it, but I don't believe it has as much to do with seeing that person as feeling their energy. There's a connection sometimes, and it's real, but it has to go beyond physical appearance for it to be love, right? | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | I agree. I don't think physical appearance has much to do with love, except that you might not notice a person if you don't consider them physically attractive. But that energy thing, yeah, it's like that. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | Yeah. *smiles* We were completely crazy, we met and in the space of a couple of weeks we were talking about long term relationships and me being his boy and saying "I love you." I think it took longer than that before I really could accept the words from him, but he was perfect from the start. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| Jason? No. No, that was never love, it was... desperation, I guess. :-/ I was in love with Richard, the Sir I was with for six years, but not until a little ways in.
I'm stalling. The second is you. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
