snarry_reader's Journal Title: B Gentle Author: Nytelover Rating: PG Category: Romance Story Link: here Author's Livejournal: Summary: An AU Snape/Harry fairytale. Reviewer: Gaycrow This is a very different take on the usual Snape/Harry romance story. It’s set in an alternative universe where, because being a prince meant responsibility, a young prince’s parents push him into choosing a subject to excel in, one that would be of benefit to the land and its people. The prince chooses to study Potions, and life becomes very interesting. This is only a short story, but I liked it for its humour and quirkiness. Something light and fluffy, but cleverly written, leaving me definitely wanting more from this writer. Title: Poster Paint on Young Nude Author: Starry Gazer Rating: NC17 Category: Romance Story Link: here Author's Livejournal: Summary: A PWP in which Harry and Snape prepare for a Christmas dance in the usual way, i.e. Harry does posters while Severus complains at length. But Severus reveals his artistic flair and a colourful evening is spent beside the fire. Reviewer: Gaycrow What a great story! Simply amazing. Voldemort is dead, Harry is back at Hogwarts as the Defence teacher and has been with Snape for a year. He is preparing Christmas posters for the inaugural Hogwarts Christmas Ball, much to Severus's displeasure. I love the way Severus responds to Harry's challenging "You'd suck at this if you had a chance, anyway." The author takes us on a wonderful journey showing us Severus's response. This line was perfect: "When it comes to being creative, Potter, I am a God" and he's not wrong! There are many things I love about this story, not the least Severus's artistic flare. An unusual, light-hearted, clever story. Title: Quill and Ink Author: Cybele Rating: NC17 Category: Romance Story Link: Via the author’s web site, below Author's Web site: http://www.swish-n-flick.netfirms.com/ Author's Livejournal: Summary: Sequel to "Something to Write On. The return of the Quill of Harry's dreams. Reviewer: Gaycrow The story starts off the morning after Harry’s detention with Snape in "Something to Write On." Harry is feeling stiff, but for all the wrong reasons. He has been woken up by an owl bringing him his Potions Journal, which he had accidentally left behind after his detention; and something else, something that Harry almost dares not touch - The quill. That quill which Harry had spent the entire year watching caress the professor’s jaw, brush Snape’s lips, chin. The quill which bled the biting remarks on Harry’s Potions essays. The very same quill which knew the soft touch of those long, agile fingers, the cool smoothness of the palm of Snape’s hand. Harry leaves Hogwarts to take up a summer job at the Three Broomsticks , where he leases a small flat upstairs. After his first night of hard work, he’s handed a letter from Snape, which proceeds to give him explicit instructions, all to do with a certain quill. Harry follows the instructions completely, and Cybele takes us on a very interesting journey. She has a beautiful way of writing ... Snape snorted. "Go to sleep, Potter...Harry." Harry’s name penetrated him and streaked through his entire body in a thousand confounded flurries. If "Potter" was a leather whip, "Harry" was a smooth silk rope sliding over his bare skin before binding him tightly. and delivers a much more satisfactory ending to this story, leaving both Harry and me with a broad grin.
