Very well written - the story line is totally different to any others I’ve read. The Muggle world has turned against the witches and wizards in the Magical world, and has either destroyed them or taken away their powers. Except for Harry, who comes across Snape at a “slave” auction.

These few sentences sum up sum up Theresa's writing style, which is easy to read, and not overly-descriptive:

“Again Snape pressed Harry to the bed. This time, he did it in a calm, almost meditative, fashion, never breaking eye contact as he did so. Harry was quiet. He'd said all he needed to say. It was his partner's turn to decide how far he wanted to take things, and how.“

There is also some interesting interaction between Harry and Dudley Dursley which isn’t often seen, and I particularly liked how Snape and Harry “name” each other. I think the author gets it exactly right.

The theme of "clipped wings" is clever, too, and makes this one of the better Snape/Harry stories around.
