I usually use xjournal for posting to LJ but you apparently can't use it to post elsewhere. I tried macjournal but it was total crap. I'd be happy to find anything that would let me post to more than one journal from the same software, because damn....
i actually like xjournal better, but being as it's pretty much been abandoned by the now-too-busy coder, i find ijournal an almost acceptable replacement.
there are a few things i like better, but am frustrated with the following 1) logging in time (am on dial and takes forevAH) 2) inability to cross-post. sure it'll do different sites, but only one at a time. 3) inability to have more than one window open, so no chance to cut and paste to hand cross-post.
right now am using a combo of ijournal and the various sites web update pages. maybe i should switch to using xjournal and ijournal, though am liable to hurt myself trying to keep the various key sequences correct.
I'm in the same boat--also on dial-up. So far, I've just hidden my head in the sand and not updated any of my journals since I got them. (You'll notice that I haven't even gotten user pics onto my JF account yet.)
Using a combo of xjournal and ijournal might not be a bad idea--I might try that one as well. ...Or maybe we should just throw ourselves at the feet of the semagic and beg them to make a mac version.
i'm kinda mousing around with all the journals. everyone is a little more concerned now (again) with the CA consumer guys agreeing to have a go at 6A so i may have to see about locking down the nc-17 fics i have (there aren't many). the whole thing is just such a pain.
and i seriously doubt the semagic guys even have the wherewithall to code on mac. it's an entirely different creature.
