Dragon-Wars! Awesomely bad. It's terrible! Possibly it's the worst movie I've ever seen. Mr. Rat and I are still in the middle of it and I had to post because it's even worse than 'The Day After Tomorrow'. The science, the acting, the plot all of it. Total crap! It's incredible.

Finally, I have discovered why Touya-muse is so totally retarded. Obviously his inner-voice was fathered by Goushi Tamiya from volume one of Junjou Karen. Specifically chapter four Tamiya and his very brilliant plan to make sure that Shirasaka took him seriously. Which he ended with 'so imma come up with a better plan! b reddy! 'kay, imma go home nao!' and then when his plan goes slightly awry (in the way we should all be so lucky, I might add) he brilliantly comes up with 'I--I CAN'T THINK STRAIGHT RIGHT NOW'.

Seriously. Remove the lolanguage and the caps and he says just that.

1: The roads were PURE ICE all the way to Grandma's house.

4: MY COUSIN HAS MY PRESSIE FROM ALANNA. Because Jeb works at the post office and it came in after the carrier left. So he figured 'oh, I shall bring this to her!' only he thought he'd see me on my birthday and I LEFT BEFORE THAT. He's not mailing it out until TODAY OR TOMORROW. But he is going to over-night it.

5: The problem with that is that it took THREE HOURS to get Mr. Rat to work today. Mr. Rat hates to drive in the snow--so I drove him. We're going to get about five inches and, oh yeah, it's PACK-Y WET SNOW THAT OFFERS ZERO TRACTION. The odds of MAIL that is TIMELY is so slim. SO slim.

6: My sister, who DID stay home, played KoL for me--and DID MY ASCENSION. Mostly. I got home late last night (twenty hours on the road! whoo! DIE.) and finished it myself. *grumblegrumble wantedtoreachlevel30 grumble*

7: I will not go into Mr. Rat's remaining family. Only to say that if I had had to stay ONE MORE MOMENT WITH THEM THEY WOULD NO LONGER REMAIN. OMG.

8: I DON'T HAVE ALANNA'S PRESSIE. *sobs*

9: Getting together with family for the holidays? Priceless. Starting a family war regarding organzied religion vs. being spiritual? TOO F#*!@ING MUCH.

So, due to the huge storm, I didn't start the trek to Mother and Father Rat's with Mr. Rat and the spawn. Instead, we stayed home and made cookies and wrapped gifts for the cousins and read 'The Littlest Angel'. DAMN IT. I forgot how much that story makes me cry. It's the first year I've read it (though my mom used to read it to me all the time) because I've been unable to find a good copy in ages--not a NEW copy, a copy that's been loved (like my copy of 'The Story of Ping'*).

It's nice to know that my ratspawn can mock my crying even as they sniffle their way through it, too. Mr. Rat mocked us all roundly. I expect to find him curled up in bed, weeping, later tonight.

CCS_Halfmagic is almost a full year old! I cannot even start to say how much the game means to me. I have had so much fun this past year and have been playing with the most extraordinary people. They have been so wonderful and I adore them. So, to the other 'originals' of the game 'Happy Birthday'.

So I haven't touched the High School Musical wank even though I am tempted because seeing all the 'u r a racist!'zomg i am not a racist u r!' makes me want to hit things and then I JUST KNOW somebody in the comments is going to Not Get It and then there will be Lots of Explanations that will make me sad.

But I have to ask: This wank is about the kid with the hair that goes everywhere, right--okay, then, wtf? No, really, wtf. I love that kid's hair and find it to be made of win. Seriously, I love it. In other news: Yay! Keith and Phillip are coming out for Thanksgiving! They're going to spend it with Phillip's family out in Ohio BUT (and I love him!) they are going to fly into O'Hare and rent a car and drive out. So I get to meet them in Chi-town and spend a day with them! I'm excited! I haven't seen Keith since he took Phillip and moved back to Nassau. I have missed him! It is not the same talking on the phone (thought getting to talk to a drunken Phillip is hysterical--Phillip is usually Very Quiet). So it will be fun and Phillip will probably let me hug him without making the 'zomg whut' face. Keith will probably spend a buttload of time picking up the 'littlest bean'. Give the man a toddler and he is as happy as a clam at high tide. Older children, meh. Babies, meh. Toddler? OMGGIMMIE.

Though I am STILL confused as to why she calls Alanna 'Tinky' and Keith 'Bunsel' (his last name is Hall). WTF, child of mine.
