I miss horsefucker wank

Best wank of 2007 yet, IMO.

And now there's a new feature-length documentary about zoophiliacs, called Zoo, that centers mostly on horsefuckers. Not only that, but it tries to shed some light on the "scene" that the man who died in Washington by equine penetration was part of. Oh, and bonus points for that Pajiba comment thread, in which somebody links to that old YouTube video where a couple candidly discusses their intimate relations with a miniature stallion.

This all cracks me up. Will Darkhorse feel "misrepresented" and "insulted" by the doc, if he watches it? Am I sick for anticipating all this? Is horsefucker wank definitely frowned upon by the [info]otf_wank mods at this point?

What is it with people deleting wank reports lately? It's already the second wank report in a week that I read on the LJ feed, and then find nowhere on the F_W page. I really wanted to see the reactions to that last Colbert Report wank. Was there anonymous trolling in the comments? Personal attacks? Fandom BNF appearances? I really want to leave this fandom, but I keep on giving it a second chance... Maybe it's the sex.

"No one can be told what Ms.Scribe is... You have to see it for yourself."

Whoa OMG WTF BBQ at the Ms.Scribe saga. I haven't had so much fun in JF in years! I remember distinctly the Supernanny wank, it was pretty funny at the time.

I've noticed that her new LJ, dejaspirit, has The Daily Show videos feed friended, to which I can only say: step off, bitch. Don't even start to think about it. Just step off of my new fandom. And it's a political, RPS-friendly one, so don't even think about starting your antics in the middle of such a gunpowder stockroom.

Return of the Tin?

Sir Ian attacks Hollywood's pressure on gay actors

"It is very, very, very difficult for an American actor who wants a film career to be open about his sexuality and even more difficult for a woman," said Sir Ian.

I'm completely out of the loop. Will the tinhats resurrect, or are they gone for good?

Finally! The apocalypse! It's happened!

From Yahoo!:

Tuesday February 1, 02:37 PM

Orlando Bloom and lover Kate split

Hot Hollywood couple Orlando Bloom and Kate Bosworth have split after being together for almost three years.

"They did decide to take some time apart due to their upcoming work schedule, and they remain very close," said the couple's representative, Robin Baum. "It was a mutual decision."

Bloom, 28, has starred in the The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Troy.

Bosworth, 22, who starred in Blue Crush, played Sandra Dee in Beyond the Sea, about the 1950s crooner Bobby Darin.

OMG NO! RIGHT BEFORE THE RAZZIES! This will hurt their chances to win one! PR, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING ABOUT?!

Everybody's doing it, so why can't I?

Uh-oh.
You are Snacky! You are obsessed with high calorie,
low health food that make everyone who loves
you fat and ugly. You do this on purpose so you
won't stand out. You made up some
"law" a while back that gets quoted
now and then, and the fame has gone to your
head. You are just nice to people's faces and
rip them to shreds behind their backs, though
your razor wit has grown dull from overuse.

Yeah, it's about the same thing people keep talking about...

I knew there was a reason I didn't get involved in DeleGate in any way possible. Anything I'd say or do would have been WANKY, so my instincts were right.

There's also the fact that I was away for that weekend, of course. *g*

The urge to play reporter and reunite on the same entry what I thought were the most relevant/funny/snarky posts and threads of the whole affair was so overwhelming though... But now I'm almost past the line of wanky, so I'll shut up.

And for future reference I'll link here to [info]o_o's Quick Guide To F_W Funneh. It should be pastede on put up on the community's bulletin board.

(And why is the spellcheck gone?! Any mangling of the English language is unintentional).

Tinhat-related

So I'm checking out this weekly magazine about entertainment that comes with the newspaper my parents are used to buying, and I stumble upon an interview with Rupert Everett (also know as "the guy on that comedy with Madonna"). The headline of the article reads: "Being English can be worst than being gay."

My curiosity is piqued, so I skim the article to find the exact (translated) quote, and this is what I find:
Q: Do you think, then, that being a self-proclaimed gay man is not a handicap in Hollywood?
R: I think it isn't. Maybe it's worse regarded to be English or to make comedy."

So, what would MsA think of this? Of course, Rupert Everett hasn't had a role in ages, has he? He certainly doesn't have a movie coming. Besides, he's British, so he might see the whole issue with different eyes. I mean, we all know that British are know for their subtle jokes, so he was surely joking when he said that he didn't think being gay in Hollywood was a handicap. Actually, he wanted to say exactly the contrary. And it's an interview for an European entertainment magazine, so it's probably rehashed, deformed stuff. Never mind that the interview was signed (by Tom Horlow -granted, it doesn't ring any bells).

So there. My daily dose of home-made sarcasm.

Fandom is funny

So, after being away from home for the whole day yesterday doing various things (see post below), I've come to miss on the development of some marvelous thing: a Real Life Mary Sue.

Stare at her in wonder! A Real Life Mary Sue Wannabe! O_O )

Oh, and besides that, I'm missing "The Scarlet Letter" on TV because my mum wants to watch something else. I have to get my Gary Oldman fix! I mean, since yesterday, I'm on withdrawal... Go Sirius!

MY POST IS PASTEDE ON YAY!

...like so many other people, I couldn't resist. I wonder what's going to happen first: people stopping saying the "pastede" line or people stopping apologizing for it. To think I was there when Crystalwank was only an embryo over at the Dom! Domm! Dommm! community over at LJ and missed the whole thing on F_W because of my stupid computer...

Anyway, I'm going to start copying some of the posts I make over at my LJ. That way, the people that read my comments will multiply by two. Let's do the Math, then: 2x0=0. Heh, at least I'm not losing any readers! *g* So this is yesterday's post:

8:30 pm - "You are the same as me."

I had almost forgotten how much I love Evangelion. Today I stumbled upon this web page: kaworu.com - Second Impact, following a link from a link from a link, etc., as I usually do. Now that I remember, I think I got there through the webmaster's LJ (but why was I checking out his profile? I don't even know him!), so I guess that everything goes full circle.

I don't know if I love Kaworu because of him or because he appears in chapter 24, the best chapter of the whole series. That chapter truly is a thing of beauty. Classical music and anime married into one of the best sequences of animation ever. Without a word of complaint from anyone- anime lovers and classical music lovers. And that, as you can guess, is very hard to do. I mean it's Beethoven's 9th Symphony, "Ode to Joy"! While there's robot's kicking each other's asses in the screen! And it's spine-chilling...

So, with this surroundings, it's no surprise I like him so much. I don't want to give too much away (nobody reads here, anyway...), but his tenderness for Shinji and the way he is blunt and sincere with him makes me fond of him. He is the first one to break through Shinji's defenses, and I think that stems from the superior knowledge of human nature he's got. He's both very innocent and very thoughtful, very young and very old. That and his mysterious nature makes him one hell of an interesting character for me. I wish I could say more, actually, but I wouldn't know how to describe the feeling I get from him.

On a personal note, I've got my own personal Shinji in real life (in terms of having severe communication problems, that is), and I would like to be his Kaworu, break through him so that he doesn't curl up deep within himself. I don't think it's good for him, but more on semi-autism another day... I have to do some research on it.

So, the site itself has got a very nice layout, easy on the eyes (beautiful even) and, at the same time, it's easy to navigate through it and find what you want. There is a lot to be found actually, chosen and/or classified with a very good criteria. There's even some originality to the sections: it's got a section to explain who is Kaworu and what's Evangelion, another for "Voices", another for "Controversy" and another called "Goods". There's spoilers all around, though not on the main page.

Lord knows I'm a h0r for voices *g* I love to hear the character's voices, preferably the original version, with a translation at hand. I like to hear how the voice actors have expressed the emotions of the characters. Sometimes this helps understanding the dialog better and adds depth to the characters' personalities.

If you've seen chapter 24 of the series, then you know what the "Controversy" section is all about, and if I find myself up to it, one day I will give my opinion on the matter. If I were to side with someone, I'd subscribe to the "he's not gay" side, but with some nuances. Oh, and the "Goods" section of the site is very complete, really awesome. It's a must for freaky otakus! (And maybe not so freaky... *g*). On the downside, many links on the "Links" section are not updated :( Either that, or the owners of the pages that are linked to took off their pages from the Internet very quickly.

Oh, and on a side note, I really got to study some Optics today. O_O Three hours on a row! O_Ox3 I should be a good girl and complete the task...

1st post

Well, this is my first post, made so that people believe there's actually someone behind the user name.

I'll thank miracalix from here for providing me with the JF code I needed to create an account, and that's about it. I don't think I'll write much more here, I write so little on my LJ (same user name) that there would hardly be anything left to say here.

But you never know...
