Just announcing that Leah & I have posted our SGABigBang story Enthrall on our joint Live Journal account, Leahwoof.

Enthrall is an SGA AU McShep story, sequel to our prior SGABigBang story, Aegis. Both stories are long, contain sexually explicit M/M scenes, and violence. These stories are Leah & my AU version of Seasons 1 & 2 of Stargate: Atlantis.

when the zombies come…

Questions
You are in a mall when the zombies attack. You have:
1. one weapon.
2. one song blasting on the speakers.
3. one famous person to fight alongside you.

* Weapon can be real or fictional; you may assume endless ammo if applicable. Person can be real or fictional.

Answers

Let's take the answers in backwards order, shall we? (my reasons shall become clear soon)

3. Well, at first I toyed with the idea of Max from Dark Angel, but ultimately decided on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.* Let's face it, while Max can definitely Kick Ass, Buffy is the Chosen One, dude! It's her job to do battle with the Forces of Darkness™. Plus she's used to protecting bumbling, well-meaning sidekicks (such as moi), and can pretty much handle any weapon, or improvise one on the fly. And she really likes shopping, so when we're done taking care of the Zombie Apocalypse, she can shop for shoes and I'll carry her bags for her.

2. At first, I was thinking maybe something classical--maybe Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture ('cause I really like those cannons at the end!), or maybe Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries (nothing quite says "I'm gonna rain destruction down on you" like that music). But then, I thought: What would Buffy like? Something more modern, probably. In a more modern vein, I like Depeche Mode's John the Revelator (that chorus of "bye, bye!" would definitely work), but I don't know if Buffy herself would be down with it. What do you say, folks? Anybody on the flist who's a Buffy expert--what theme song would she like?

1. Buffy will probably carry an armory including a sword, a bazooka, and anything else she can fit in her purse. I'm dithering between Ronon's blaster gun from SGA, and Mr. Freeze's Freeze Ray from Batman. I was also thinking that if I had some kind of Healing Ray, I could just cure all the Zombies, the Apocalypse would be over, and we could all, y'know, just go shopping….

* For a brief while I thought of Shaun, of Shaun of the Dead, because he's a zombie expert, right? But then again, his track record at keeping his companions alive is not very good at all….
