Finally going to use this for something...
I am going to post all boring rl stuff here. Let the inaneness begin!
I have finished my Text Entry class now and completed that portfolio. My teachers were overly impressed with it for some reason. Yeah, it looks nice and it's got teh pretty colorz, but damn, it's the same work that everyone is required to turn in. Has no one ever done it right besides me? Hmm. Teacher said she is going to take it to a teacher down in the english building, so she can show everybody. Whatever. I am smart. I know. All the stupid people in my class tell me that when I help them do their work. Yeah, my letterheads, flyers, and brochures are Teh Shit, but I have my Desktop Publishing book to thank for that, heh. Yeah, I finished the class really early. I also finished Keyboarding really early. The class is easy, and if you spend a couple hours a day working on it, you could finish it early too. I used to think everyone in my classes were complete retards, because I was the only one doing well in them, but now I have decided that I am a genius. So everyone can feel free to bask in my immense knowledge. Watch as I make straight A's in all these easy community college office administration classes!
We got a GameStop here on Thanksgiving day last year, so a lot of my money kind of disappeared. I have been playing Tales of Symphonia for freaking ever. Well, not really much longer than any other rpg that I have, but I haven't been playing it as frequently so I've had the game for months and not finished it yet. That is unheard of for me. I usually finish a 50+ hour game in a week or so, even with school and work. I have more of a social life now, I suppose, if you count my bowling leagues as social. I do. Plus, I am getting old, so getting up at the crack of dawn for school and staying up all night just isn't as possible for me anymore, hehe. I have also played a little X-Men Legends, but seeing as how it's not a standard rpg, I haven't gotten very involved with it. I will take it up again once I finish ToS. I also have Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, which I haven't even looked at yet. I have really slacked off on my gaming, but I have replaced it with physical activity, so I guess that is a good thing.
I am on three bowling leagues now. I love it, but it is hard at the same time. My leg and back hurts. I guess my follow-through is awkward and is pulling the muscle in my upper thigh. This cold weather is making me stiff all over so I suppose that isn't helping. I enjoy seeing the people every week, even if none of them are really my age. I am spending a lot of time with my family there, which I guess is good. I am getting exercise, both mental and physical. I don't see my other friends a lot anymore, but that is not really because of the bowling. I never hung out with them a lot anyway. We don't see each other at school like we did last semester, and rarely work together either. That sucks, but I guess if we were really good friends, it wouldn't be this way. So I am not too horribly upset over it. I would like to improve my scores, but it is not going to happen until I start going and practicing more. I need to find some marks to use for spares, and strikes when the conditions are annoying. I need to improve my arm strength so I can move up to a 14lb bowl. That isn't going to happen for a long time though. I am scrawny and the 12lb bowl feels heavy to me most of the time.
Nothing to put here, heh. I have a crush on someone who I see a lot, but can't see anything ever coming from it for various reasons. It's no big deal though. I like having crushes. I don't have a lot of interest in actually dating just because it never works out. I think I am borderlining on asexual because I really have no interest in having sex with anyone. I like guys a lot, enjoy spending time with them and whatnot, but I really do not care to do anything beyond hugging or kissing. This makes dating very difficult. :) I want to get married in the future, and I think if I found someone that I was really attracted to, then I would want to get it on with them, but so far, I've just put out to get people off my back. Where are all the decent looking, nice guys? All of them are either ugly, too young, have kids, sex-crazed, boring, or crazy. I suppose it doesn't help that I am a quirky geek who looks about 14. "Cute" is the word I always hear. So the only people that act interested in me are perverted old geeks. And I haven't met any decent looking perverted old geeks yet. Maybe there is one out there somewhere, haha.
