People had been sl0ring for Claymore in a forum I frequent, so I gave the manga a chance.
It starts a bit like Berserk, although I have to admit that Clare is a lot easier on the eyes than Guts... Then you suddenly realise that this is, at heart, a series about demon-slaying ninjas of the Sampei Shirato school in a vaguely European Middle Ages setting, with nukenin and all. And then you're sucked in.
I was up reading the first volumes at Onemanga until 2:30 AM, and I had to get up at 6:30, so I'm more than a bit underslept, but... hey, it's cool. Even if one gets tired of all the bald-headed guys with femmy eyes and mouths that the author draws for half of the secondary characters.
