"I wrote you a poem," Harry says, and slips a square of folded up paper into Severus' lap.
It's bad - the kind of bad that's almost inexcusable - and Snape flinches before his features go back to neutral.
"Uh, thank you," Snape says, and looks covertly around the room for rose petals. It had taken days to pick all of those petals out of the nooks and crannies during Harry's last romantic escapade.
Harry doesn't believe in moderation, and refuses to learn.
"What do you say to a romantic dinner for two at that new restaurant in town?"
"Let's stay inside tonight," Severus murmurs into Harry's neck, and plans on not letting Harry any where near music and candlelight. Severus most assuredly does not want him singing him love songs in the middle of a restaurant.
