The color of the sky was an impossible, ostentatious pink, that only artists with more nerve than talent dared to paint.
They walked in silence along the abandoned beach, just the two of them -- the older man and his younger friend with the sea green eyes.
Harry smiled at Severus, taking his hand in his and Severus smiled back.
Both of them knew that they couldn’t go back even if they wanted to, but then again, why would they want to go back to a world they had just left behind. Death was so much better in some respects.
