The minute Harry saw the kitten he knew he had to buy it for Severus. He knew it was ridiculous, impractical and idiotic. And he knew that Severus would really hate it, but something compelled him to buy the black ball of fluff anyhow.
He presented the kitten to Severus, wrapped in a red bow. "Here. Happy birthday." He thrust the kitten into Severus' hands and said, "Iboughtyouakitten," turned and tried to run.
Severus smirked, shifted the kitten into his right hand, with his left hand he grabbed the back of Harry’s jumper, pulling him in and kissing him hard.
